ParticipantWhat inspired me the most is the explanation of the prayer. I learned that there is no other goal in life than to transform myself with the help of my neighbor and the Creator. I wish for other other students that they will be able to ignore the ego and love their neighbors as themselves.

ParticipantMy best experience was to learn that prayer is the desire to change myself.
What I expect from this course is to connect more with other people. So far, I have been happily living in my little world with my wife and kiddos. Connecting with other people has often times been a disappointment. I am very curious to see if this course will make a change in that.

ParticipantWe would be done with the doctrine of duality: “Me against Them”.

ParticipantWhen I was reading the article “How bad is it to go through life without a plan?” from Dr. Michael Laitman, I remembered reading somewhere or hearing somewhere that we all have a unique purpose in life. Is that true? If so, how do we find our unique purpose?
Or is the only purpose to reconnect with the Creator. And, in order to do so, we need to correct our nature. Which might be a unique correction?

ParticipantSo, if I am very comfortable living in my little world and don’t make any effort to connect to other people, that is considered Evil?
February 24, 2025 at 12:37 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Question: Our entire work in Kabbalah is only to attract the light that reforms. By this we receive everything we need for our advancement. Furthermore, I’m told that if I will help the others, I will advance myself even more towards spirituality. How does this work? What does it mean to help the others, those with the point in the heart, on the spiritual path? #427003Mark
ParticipantSeeing others as superior to yourself and contributing to their spiritual development is altruism. Helping others will attract more light and accelerate your spiritual development.
