I still haven’t found what I’m looking for. I was raised Catholic and have searched through every religion from Christianity to Judaism to Islam to Hinduism. I never felt like I belonged anywhere. When I started studying kabbalah, it made a lot of sense to me and I hope to gain a deeper understanding of myself and the forces working in the world. But right now, I am just a beginner seeking G-d.

There is no such thing as reality then. That was mind-blowing and thought provoking. I want to go beyond the five senses and ego that create my current reality.
May 26, 2021 at 12:10 am EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: To what perception of reality do we want the study of Kabbalah to lead us? #52620Nancy ArnoldParticipantThere are many perceptions of reality. Animals perceive reality differently. Reality doesn’t exist the way we think it is but we can perceive reality outside of our body. Ordinarily we rely on our five senses to perceive reality but studying Kabbalah will help us go beyond the five senses and the ego to seeing reality through G-d’s perception. I want to perceive reality outside of my five senses and ego.

What do you desire to achieve from it? #51224Nancy ArnoldParticipantI want to learn how to change my life and extend my vessels of perception. I want to understand life and the purpose of life. I want to break away from blind fate.
