Learning to accept the fact that all of the things- whether perceived as good or bad- that have occurred in my life have all taken place to bring me to where I am right now. In order to move to a higher level of understanding, I have to experience and try to understand the forces around me, not just listen to my ego.

That’s a sure fire way to alienate people. It seems to me that, as we’re learning so much new information, it would be better to keep it inside, ponder it privately, so that you’re not influenced by what others think, and so that you don’t try to give them understanding that you haven’t completely grasped yet. When this starts getting “inside” of you, others will see a change in you. Maybe they’ll ask questions at that point. In the mean time, keep quite, ponder, and be yourself. Just the thoughts I’ve learned in nearly 70 years.
December 18, 2023 at 9:31 am EST in reply to: Preparation Question: To what perception of reality do we want the study of Kabbalah to lead us? #337336Patti YParticipantTo get a better understanding of how the Creator wants “things” to go, and be able to help others have deeper relationships with the Creator. If we know the questions to ask, or the comments that need to be made in response to others, they should be able to find their answers or solutions within themselves.

If I understand correctly, there will eventually be a reuniting of the souls, resulting in that complete soul of Adam Harishon. IF this simplified description is correct– when that unification happens, could that be what is commonly referred to as the Messiah?      Thanks.

What do you desire to achieve from it? #336801Patti YParticipantI would like to fulfill the purpose for which I am here. I would like to be able to help others better understand how to navigate their lives in a less negative manner, to encourage them to be the “best” that they can be.
Patti YParticipantMy name is Patti. I live in the US. I’m hoping to dig deeper into the Torah.
