ParticipantIt seems that the egoism that erupted in the time of Abraham, in order to start us on a new phase of evolution, has been causing problems ever since ! I m guessing that the new upsurge in levels of egoism right now is signalling that we are nearing the end of that phase?  And – it will only complete if we are able to make that step up, I m guessing to a new level of connection/AdamHaRishon.
Einstien said we cant resolve a problem at the same level as the one where it was created.
And I think Rav Leitman says its the Kabbalists who lead the way ? Uho !

ParticipantDear Gianni and friends,
On a more personal level, I m finding the opposite of closer connection to several people in my life right now.
I feel less desire to be in contact with people who seem inconsiderate. Is this something I need to look at within myself- where I am inconsiderate ? Or, in fact, is it a sign of greater discernment ?
In the past, I have found that sometimes I ve had to let go of something completely before there is room for something better to enter my life. To be clear, I have had to abandon a different spiritual path, judging it for its own worth, without knowing what would come next, before I found the Kabbalah.
Does the same rule apply to both sets of circumstances?

ParticipantHI Gianni & friends,
Question 1) I m wondering about the “Desire to be like the Creator” , Julian said ” to want the status of the Creator”. That is – to be like G-d , and my question is – isn’t that Ego-ic, it sounds like there may be a competative edge ?
Question 2) Alternatively, since the Creator is Endless Light, the Ultimate One-ness, is there possibly a step missing, ( ie:- Adam HaRishon ) since its roughly the same as a person with this desire seeking to become obliterated, absorbed into One-ness.  Surely it would only be possible to become ( part of ) the Creator, since to be LIKE Him would still to be separate, which in fact isnt possible.  .

Since the wisdom of Kabbalah deals with developing our precious eternal part—the soul—it is important to take a moment to note your expectations from this stage of your journey, and later check back and see what aligned with or differed from your expectations, and how you might’ve changed in the process: What do you hope to get out of this course you’re now starting? #334330Sarah
ParticipantI kinda like the description of “being in the womb”.
Right now, it s good to have a space of warmth & safety, not having to worry about what is coming, but just absorbing what comes through the Umbilical cord – which is, I guess, the ultimate connection needed for the growth of a human being . Just absorbing the nutrition and love which is the basis of learning the way of the heart – having first received the experience.
From here, all the rest can flow.

ParticipantLike my fellow s on this journey, “There is none else but Him”, is a huge shift for me, that has changed how I understand the events that happen in my life. It allows me to receive the wonder around me in the most ordinary things. And when I see that things have come to me deliberately, I look for the lesson, which is a more healthy reaction than getting annoyed or upset was.
The other thing was how I began to view my interactions with people differently, and I look forward, in the coming course, to growing in how to do this with more awareness & consistency. Its gonna be a great ride, guys, I look forward to sharing it with you all !

ParticipantFrom the previous 2 courses:-  that kabbalah is the receiving of G-ds wisdom, that we are in a set system, and all we can do is change our way of looking at things. So we know all is pre-ordained, and our free-will relates to changing our understanding , so we can see the roots from which our experience has come, and welcome it as a chance to move up in spiritual understanding.
In this course :-  To understand Kabbalah as a science, so I can experiment with what I experience when I change my perspective. I am really looking forward to learning how to pray effectively.
