I’ve been really curious about something. I finished “The Blueprint of Creation” and we are now touching on these concepts in “A Sage Speaks”. This has led me to some self study and I’ve become fascinated by the Tetragrammaton, gematria, and the Ten Sefirot, and how they seem to describe the architecture of creation.
I’m wondering how important you would say these things are for someone who is actually studying Kabbalah. Are they essential for understanding what is happening spiritually, or are they more of a map that becomes meaningful once you’ve developed a deeper understanding of the work?
I guess I’m trying to understand where the study of the structure fits in relation to the actual work. If you’ve been studying this for 10+ years, what would you say is worth understanding about the Tetragrammaton, the Sefirot, and the numerical structure—and what is perhaps interesting but not necessary at this stage? This question is in regards to the morning lesson for today/Rabash “What Should One do if he was born with Bad Qualities” – If my qualities are fixed and the Creator reveals them exactly as they are, what is my actual participation in the correction? What is the part that belongs to me, and what is the part that only the Light can do?
