SueParticipantI have struggled on how to respond to this question. Reading the responses from the group is opening my mind though with further question. Yes, now I try to question the “gifts” of events in my life not from the perspective of what I can gain from it (consciously) but turning it around to try and see everything from the creators perspective. So on the whole, the events are neither good nor bad but bestowal is still not clear; am I receiving and accepting events in my life as a form of giving to the creator? Or is it about the benefits that the events bring to others, and me being able to recognise it? Is it about the corporeal world or about accepting that the events as benefiting the correction of creation as a whole?
October 7, 2026 at 3:09 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: To what perception of reality do we want the study of Kabbalah to lead us? #521674
SueParticipantTo the perception of the Creator, which is beyond the perception of reality we perceive through our 5 senses. Kabbalah helps uus to develop this “sixth” sense which once attained will enable us to perceive the unity of the soul of Adam Harishon. I think Michael Brewer’s answer is very comprehensive.

SueParticipantI’m very new to Kabbalah and I am just excited to learn more….everything from u learning my current religious conditioning to understanding that characters in the Bible are states and not necessarily people; or at least that is what I have picked up so far. I look forward to understanding more about the language of roots and branches.
