SuzanneParticipantConnecting with others happens when you are on the same “wave-length” or “vibration”. In Kabbalah connecting with others is working in conjunction for a common goal. Also, loving your friend as yourself. We connect in the desire of climbing the spiritual ladder, learning the wisdom of Kabbalah, sharing the love we have for each other.

SuzanneParticipantI don’t know how to answer this question. I have just remained opened throughout. I have the point in the heart and ask all of the questions about life that are necessary to want to learn Kabbalah, but I am also someone who mostly keeps to herself, has different interests than the others around her, and have asked spiritual questions despite not having money or fame. I was a little disappointed when it was said that one should only study Kabbalah after exploring their desires. I have plenty but not access to all of my desires. I’ve lived a difficult life and I think this actually made me ask the spiritual questions long before most people. I am hoping that for now, my intention is enough.
I expect that the further along I get in this course the more revelations will occur.
SuzanneParticipantI got more of an understanding on prayer; what gets answered and what doesn’t. I tried shifting my prayer and found out that it is really the same prayer. For instance, I could pray to receive more money. I want the money to help my daughter who is in college. However, if I shift the prayer and ask that she receive the help she needs, it’s the same prayer but it puts her first and cuts me out because I don’t really need to be the middle person anyway. It shifts the intention of the prayer. I hope that makes sense.
My hope for my fellow students is that their experience would be of love and goodness that the Creator desires to bestow onto them. I hope that one day we will be able to meet and help each other up the spiritual ladder.

SuzanneParticipantI can imagine that it would be a world of harmony where everyone has everything they need. We live in a world where opposites are a universal law, so I don’t believe it will ever happen. I still think we could try to do better, though.

SuzanneParticipantThere is all this teaching about knowing Kabbalah works because of the past people who experienced it. Can the teachers in this program talk to their experience with it? I am definitely feeling that resistance in prayer and I keep wondering if I am doing something wrong. Is my ego too big, is my life too unstable, or maybe everyone just passes the buck onto some soul that keeps reincarnating and that is the only person who will ever achieve the state of Bestowal while the rest of us go on chasing something unattainable.
April 29, 2026 at 5:17 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: Our entire work in Kabbalah is only to attract the light that reforms. By this we receive everything we need for our advancement. Furthermore, I’m told that if I will help the others, I will advance myself even more towards spirituality. How does this work? What does it mean to help the others, those with the point in the heart, on the spiritual path? #496629
SuzanneParticipantAs for being in a group with other individual that also have the point in the heart, each person is supported in their journey of becoming more like the creator instead of being dragged down by others who are not seeking to bestow but to continue on the self serving path. When one person is enlightened, it paves the way for others to also become enlightened. Unfortunately, I don’t know anyone with my same interests and there are no groups near me that offer the same teachings. I can only hope that being part of this group helps.
I believe that helping others can come in many forms, but the biggest part has to do with “loving your neighbor as yourself”. To help with only the intention to give rather than seeking some reward from it. I am having trouble with some of this. I help my family, I volunteer and I seek out ways to make my partner less burdened or simply for his enjoyment, but in a lot of cases I can see how I might benefit. Does this boost my ego? Am I doing it to get something back? Do I expect things like a thank you? And so I am begging the creator to show me the way, to make me more like him, because it seems that no matter what I do, it all leads back to me. Perhaps my fellow group members can help me out.
