Shifting from reasoning of the ego to reasoning above the ego.

My best experience from the previous course was learning how to shift my perspective. I am excited to continue to learn how to apply the teachings into my life on an everyday basis and to understand more and more as the light shines in.

Now I notice that what I seem to think about most often is “I want…..”. I never realized how self absorbed I was. I started daily writing down 6 things that I already have that I am grateful for, 6 acts of service to others, 6 things I desire (just to get that out of the way so I can think about other things), and 4 acts of “temple care”, which is doing things that take care of my physical body.

My role in this is to “Be the change you wish to see” as Ghandi said. To love my neighbor as myself. By that correction, others around me will also be affected by that love.
