To get this right, in order to become aware of the Upper world, the spiritual reality out there, I have to become equal to the will to bestow, I should follow its ratio and that is “unconditional altruism”, right? Does this mean that I have to become what is called in Hebrew a “tzadik”, a righteous, generous man who does only good to the world around him and gives to people in need? Thank you.

To be filled as much as possible with a fuller reality, the part that we cannot experience with our five physical senses. Once we receive this fuller reality the events in our lives as we perceived them, will make more sense to us and we will get a clearer view of who we are, where we came from and where we are going to.

I’m Tal. I’m 68 years old, live in Israel close to Tel-Aviv, but originally from the Netherlands. Married + child (18 yo. son). Still work full-time. Earlier in my life some tragic events have happened in my life, most notably the tragic suicide of my sister as a result of a post-natal depression. It’s a long time ago but it triggered me to question the meaning of all of this what we call life. What is my purpose of life? What can I learn from these tragic events, instead of leading a depressing life myself? I hope Kabbalah may provide some answers.
