“Reality reflects who we are. When it seems corrupt, it’s because we are corrupt.”

It seems that Lishma state will probably be attained at an old age, because it’s much harder for a young, middle-aged person to renounce the corporeal desire to receive for oneself than an old person who already experienced “almost everything” in the physical world. Isn’t that right?
November 21, 2021 at 8:03 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Question: The importance of clearly defining the goal in the study of Kabbalah is the beginning of the path. Once the goal is defined, you will continue to refine it to keep yourself perfectly aimed at the target. How would you currently define the goal for which you are studying? #189883Tiago CasellatoParticipantThe goal for which I study Kabbalah is to reach faith above reason and reduce/control my fears and anxieties.

November 9, 2021 at 1:41 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Question: Try to imagine the sensation behind the statement “There is None Else Besides Him.” How can I feel that the entire reality is the action of the Creator? #187358Tiago CasellatoParticipantIt feels that we’re not alone in this world, that the Creator “cares” about us and we have a purpose.
November 9, 2021 at 12:51 pm EST in reply to: What was my best experience from the previous course? What do I expect from this course? #187352Tiago CasellatoParticipantMy best experience was to learn the difference between attaiment and intelectual understanding. The kabbalists who have attained the upper worlds really became those qualities; nobody told them, it wasn’t simply knowledge learned from books, they felt and perceived the the Creator. This is impressive!
