Transitioning from a self-centered perception of reality to that of one grounded in altruism would entail annulling oneself and setting the intention toward the desires of others, such as others’ desire for adhesion to the Creator. In other words, reducing one’s will to receive for oneself in order to receive on behalf of others (bestowing). I’m not sure I’m articulating what I’m trying to say correctly…
June 13, 2024 at 11:30 pm EDT in reply to: Reflect: Share something from the lesson that inspired you, or even just gave you a fresh perspective. #375985TiffanyParticipantI feel that the videos and readings in this lesson propelled me toward a better understanding of Kabbalah and the importance of setting the right intentions to achieve the desired states of reception and bestowal. I’m eager to experience the connection aspect as that seems to be the way to annul oneself in a group setting while bestowing and receiving in order to reach equivalence of form with our Creator… My apologies if I’m not explaining this very well. There is so much to learn and contemplate.
June 10, 2024 at 1:25 am EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: Congratulations on progressing through the intermediary stages of your Kabbalah learning by staring this new course! Since the wisdom of Kabbalah deals with developing our precious eternal part—the soul—it is important to take a moment to note your expectations from this stage of your journey, and later check back and see what aligned with or differed from your expectations, and how you might’ve changed in the process: What do you hope to get out of this course you’re now starting? #375345TiffanyParticipantIn this course, I hope to deepen my understanding of my ego and its role in my spiritual development, recognize Nature’s plan for a future rooted in mutually beneficial connections, and learn about the “Reforming Light” and its activation through the Kabbalists tool-kit (group, teacher, and texts).
April 28, 2024 at 12:04 am EDT in reply to: What was my best experience from the previous course? What do I expect from this course? #370573TiffanyParticipantI think the best experience for me from the previous course was learning that there are a lot of other people in the world who share a similar desire to know why we are here and learning about our Creator.
For this course, I hope to gain a deeper level of connection and understanding of Kabbalah in order to apply what I am learning to my everyday life: thoughts and actions.
April 26, 2024 at 10:22 am EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: How can we get in touch with the upper force and act with it mutually? #370467TiffanyParticipantHow can we get in touch with the upper force and act with it mutually?
By studying and learning from authentic Kabbalah texts and setting our intention toward equivalence of form with our Creator.
TiffanyParticipantWhat most inspired me in the course?
The spiritual and authentic Kabbalah content, multimodal instruction, abundant opportunities to ask questions and receive thoughtful responses, and the organized way in which the complex science of Kabbalah was taught kept me inspired to learn more throughout the course. I’m very grateful to be a part of KabU.What have I learned about myself in the process?
I have learned that my thoughts and ego are intricately connected, and that to reach my greatest desire to know our Creator, I must study authentic Kabbalah texts, reflect often, and have faith that the light surrounds me, always, no matter what is going on in the world around me. While I have found great comfort in this new mindset, I feel somewhat disconnected from those around me who do not share the same desire to know our Creator. What do I wish for my fellow students in their spiritual development?
My wish for my fellow students is that they will continue the spiritual journey they have begun. I cannot think of anything more valuable in our existence than to know our Creator. - AuthorReplies
