The thing that blows my mind is that the will to receive is not bad, but it is the will to receive for only my pleasure is what is evil.
TomParticipantThanks for the answer Chris. I forgot to post the link to the video for us, but what you said makes sense to me.

I have always been a seeker of spiritual truth, but every where I looked, religion, mysticism, and science left me unsatisfied. Kabbalah is opening up the spiritual world for me that I didn’t “see” before.
December 24, 2022 at 8:48 pm EST in reply to: What do you imagine humanity’s emergent form to be like? #307368TomParticipantWe don’t know what the abstract and esoteric levels of the spiritual world are like, there are no words to describe it the Kabbalist tell us. So, once we reach unity, we’ll advance into unimaginable joy and happiness in the Light that some texts say is “1000 times brighter than 1000 suns”.

Write a few words about yourself and about what you expect from the course #307367TomParticipantHi, I’m Tom from Simpsonville, South Carolina, USA. I am studying the wisdom of Kabbalah because it is the instructions on how to actually connect with the Creator. Now I am working on correcting my desire and from just the few lessons, I am more aware of my egoistic tendencies. Thanks to Tony Kosinec I am constantly looking at my thoughts and wondering that since they come from a desire, who is the desire for?
TomParticipantHi,
I am a beginning student of Kabbalah and I am extremely excited to continue learning more about the wisdom of Kabbalah.
I recently watched a documentary on YouTube titled “Who Created Nothing?”. In it they discuss the hypothesis that before the Big Bang the photons that were in the singularity came from the end of the universe that existed before.
My question is then: “What started the cycle in the first place?” and “Where did the original matter come from to start the cycle?”.
In the documentary the scientist admitted that they can only speculate since they don’t know how matter came into being from nothing.
