Hi my pieces of “I”,
The roots and branches of a tree represent different layers of the “I” at varying depths. We can observe these layers by adjusting the depth of our awareness. When we focus only on the physical body, we are fixing our awareness on the level of the body, which is like looking at the tips of the branches—a single perspective, a localized point, a concentrated depth. However, if we fix our awareness on the whole tree, or the source from which the tree grows, the “roots,” we see a more macro, comprehensive, closer-to-reality, and complete version of the “I.” This deeper level of the I is connected to the whole and more integrated. It awakens the moment you become aware of it, and from that moment, your experience of the holistic “I” begins. You will realize that you are far more than just the tips of the branches—you are the entire tree.

They correspond to the will to receive and the will to bestow.

are desires, Kelim that create the outside world according
to their own shapes. Outside us there is only Abstract
Form, the intangible, imperceptible Creator. We shape
our world through shaping our own tools of perception,
our own Kelim.
2.We cannot change the order of the Reshimot. That
has already been determined on our way down. But we
can and should determine what we will do with each
Reshimo.
…
Actually, our efforts don’t have to succeed; the effort
itself is enough. By increasing our desires to be like the
Creator (altruistic), we attach ourselves to higher, more
spiritual states.

September 27, 2024 at 2:33 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: To what perception of reality do we want the study of Kabbalah to lead us? #390143Yijun SunParticipantOur understanding of reality depends on the quality of our vessel. Kabbalah teaches us to develop the sixth sense, known as the screen, enabling us to perceive the difference between our qualities and those of the Creator.

How has its transmission avoided religious-style expansion?
