Yiskah
ParticipantThis entire lesson blew my mind! I used to be so afraid of the idea of no free will, but now I see where the scientific arguments lack and how our true free will makes so much more sense than what I imagined things to be like. Understanding that I have this point in the heart that has been awakened, and how becoming more like the Creator can bring true free will is actually freeing!

ParticipantTrue freedom is when we can liberate ourselves from purely ego based needs and can instead focus on benefiting the other and nature because we are all interconnected and are sustained by the Creator.

ParticipantIt is definitely true from my experience. When I felt the loneliest is when my health tended to do the worst as well.
February 18, 2025 at 8:32 pm EST in reply to: What makes it so difficult for us to agree with the results of the research on pro-social spending that was presented in the lesson? #426660Yiskah
ParticipantI think what makes it difficult for many of us to agree with the study is because of what we see in the world around us. It does not seem as if people inherently act this way from a first impression of society.

ParticipantBy understanding that I too and everyone around me is a part of the same whole.

ParticipantHello everyone, I’m Yiskah from Florida. I am excited to take this course and learn more about connection. This is an important topic for me as I currently live in a very rural area and do not have much chance for connection with others outside of my husband and our children, so I hope that this course will inspire me to find ways to make more connections!
