Can I invoke the light that reforms by listening to rav in Hebrew even though I don’t know Hebrew?

Hi Todd,
Yes, if you are engaged in the study with the intention to draw the reforming light, then you can do so regardless of any circumstances. Still, it is important that a person can hear and understand the teacher.

Is this the best place to chat with other students? Instructors? If not, where should I go for chatting and group study?

Hey Dustin,
Sure, certainly. That’s in the meantime until the end of the course where you find yourself given a group to work with but you’ll have access to these forums as well.
Thanks!

Hi
In letter No. 14 of BHS
What does it mean that ” All the multiplication in spirituality relies on the letters derived from the materiality of this world”?
Thank you
Adelina

Hey Adelina,
Sure, meaning the only thing the Creator created was the will to receive, the black point – “darkness” and the only way for the created being to know the light is to first know the darkness that the Creator created. This is coming to know Pharoah.
Thanks!

Hi Chris
But what is the multiplication in spirituality? Are they discernments?
Thank you

This is not a question but a comment regarding an issue brought up on Sunday meeting with friends and I did not want to argue about it in the class so not to disturb everyone tuning in for connection. However, it sat on me like a ton of bricks, so I best air in the question section where those who are seeking connection can glance over it and skip it if it caused disturbance, but I needed to air for my peace of mind.
The issue is regarding a statement that “If the government says that this is the law.. then we have to take it as if it is the LAW” or at least how I understood it. I could not disagree more, as I have lived under many government rules and none of them had anything right and what they say is nothing more than lies and manipulations to ensure that they actually have their foot on the neck of others as I once saw Julian show an illustration of a picture depicting egotism and the evil inclination. Take for example how the Rav. Laitman arrived in Israel after years of suffering as a “Refusnik” in Russia. One should question what the government accumulates on those who disagree with their view, and even more so when it depicts a particular group or a minority as someone that needs to be watched.  Just because the government says, or even implies something about a group or an individual does not make it true! In fact this is precisely why the 3rd branch of government (Judicial) was created to ensure limiting the abuse of government due to political manipulation and self-serving rumors injected by it (government) to precisely keep its foot on the neck of its population.
My conclusion is, I can understand not fighting Gallaith if this is what it means by “following what the government says” especially within a group that is seeking “Yashar El” , but it does NOT make everything they say is true as the truth. I can trust the Creator with “Faith above reason”, but as for governments I will ALWAYS, given my life experience, examine its statement and action precisely within reason.
Now I got it off my chest and I can move on, I know I made a mountain out of a grain of sand, but if everything comes from Him (Creator) then there must be a purpose for me to state it at 4:00 AM.

The concept of “None else beside Him” is clear but it gets confusing when one gets severe disturbance especially after watching Lio VOD class “who are the Jews”. In that class the theme talks about two ancient forces of Abraham vs. Nimrud that are at odd, I think it is best depicted similar to George Locus series of the Jedi and the darkside and they both use the power of the force.
The question is: When someone experiences descents, left-lane-pushes from the Creator That are so strong how does someone know that he/she belong to the Abrahamic force or really belong to the Nimrud force and they are in the wrong group? I am sure throughout your experience in KabU, you run to all sort of characters, do some of the forces of Nimrud show up at your doorstep thinking that they are Abrahamic in nature only to leave later realizing that the attraction to the force was right, but the nature of the person belong to the other side (Sitra Achra)?

Hey Jack,
First, it’s great to see you recognized handling it in a different way was best for everyone else –Â a good quality we should all be envious of. Just to add an additional word, the “law of the land” comes from the Creator, He decides what laws should be, where and when, so this really only has to do with how we relate to the Creator’s governance. Obviously, we do not agree with almost everything He does, and we always have different options and ideas about how things should or should have gone. From the great to the small.
About your question though…
This is exactly the role of receiving additional coarseness, and heaviness in the work. It’s not that my body becomes physically heavy or I become indifferent to everything, no. I could actually be completely full of life and energy to fulfill all kinds of desires, just everything except correcting the soul. It’s heaviness in the idea that there’s None Else Besides Him and revealing Him in that way, as Good that does Good, this is what loses importance and pushes us into a lowly perception of the world. This disconnection is intentional in order for us to climb back. These efforts are what are counted towards the goal of reaching a true request for correction. We’re put in the dark and given a method which is completely opposite to our egoistic, logical brains serving the ego. The only tool we have is nullifying towards the society which will raise me out of that state. This is all our work from moment to moment.
Best of luck,
Chris

Hi Adelina,
This is to bring it into an environment where it is given all the necessary ingredients and conditions to grow and develop and where the shells surrounding that point are pealed off and the stony heart becomes a heart of flesh.
