mrc sParticipantIs romance better than sex or depends on the inner state and the body..?
- October 19, 2022 at 6:09 pm EDT #302436
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorHi humehr,
I wouldn’t exactly be able to tell you why…but in general, if the body (body also meaning ‘ego’) then it finds no livelihood in such actions –Â the “what for?” may not be clearly defined and if it is, there is no reward and so the body would find no interest.
That could be the case, that you’re touching on such inner points, inner rejection to the path that leads to love of others, that the body, the ego feels rejection to something it is naturally opposite to and against. This would be a good sign that you’re being shown your true nature.
If you are not aimed towards adhesion with the upper force through your attitude towards others, then it’s probably related to the initial explanation in my first sentence.
Thanks!

Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorWe can’t really comment on this mrc. Kabbalah only deals with the inner correction of a person, and does not relate to anything physical.

mrc sParticipantHow can a sinner be righteous..?
- October 19, 2022 at 6:03 pm EDT #302434
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorSpirituality exists between two opposites. This is how the created being perceives reality – sensing a plus can’t be without the existence of the minus. For us, something exists if we feel it.

Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorHi mrc,
We are all different. You can’t compare us. However, there should be a level of fulfillment a person arrives at on the path when they start revealing what it is they’re actually engaging in. When you see there’s nothing else in the world except finding the path of truth. That there are many pleasures in the world, but you can’t enjoy from them. This, in the right context is actually a very joyful revelation – that you have in your hands the path to truth, instead of being stuck in a bad dream you can’t escape from.
Best of luck,
Chris

mrc sParticipantWhat’s my attitude, what should I think if someone offend me.?
- October 14, 2022 at 6:44 pm EDT #302088
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorHi mrc,
Go back to none else besides Him. Even though it’s just words. Look at yourself from the side. The more you go into yourself the more disconnected you are from the true reality.
Thanks!
Chris

JoeParticipantWhat does the 10 mean?
- October 14, 2022 at 6:42 pm EDT #302086
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorHey Joe,
You’re probably referring to the group a person invests themselves into in order to apply spiritual work in a practical way.
After you’ve finished the courses here, you’ll be organized along with others on the same path, into a group of about 10 for you to begin you spiritual work with them.
This is the work of Kabbalists since you’ll learn there is no Creator without the created being. And a single person is not considered a created being. Throughout the course you’ll learn what the work is along with many answers to questions you’re not even asking yet and when you have the basics, you can begin the work.
Thanks!
Chris

JoeParticipantHow do we come to know the 613 corrections? How do we study the Torah or is it by reading the Zohar we come to know both things and does that start with the book Introduction to the  Zohar ?  Thank you. Also does Kabbalah speak of a person using foul language?
- October 14, 2022 at 6:45 pm EDT #302089
JoeParticipantAgain thank you.
- October 14, 2022 at 6:39 pm EDT #302084
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorHey Joe,
These corrections are places we are opposite to the Creator and when we “correct” those desires we use them in order to bestow. “Studying the Torah” is putting yourself under the influence of the light that reforms which brings you closer to the correction and has nothing to do with reading stories in a book. Rather if you approach Kabbalistic sources with a very scrutinized and sharp intention, knowing exactly what you want as a result of the study, then with this aim of coming closer to the quality of bestowal you are drawing those correcting forces on yourself. This is what Kabbalists refer to as “study”.
About the foul language, it’s like a child who spills a drink but has no idea it’s defined as “spilling a drink” or that it’s “causing a mess”. Of course someone who wants only to justify the Creator and do Him good has a different approach to life and how they relate to reality, but you still can’t judge an actions performed on the outside and relate that to what you imagine is happening on the inside. It’s just two different worlds. You’ll never know the inner world of someone else.
Thanks!
Chris
