Greetings! Is this correct?
Day 1: Light.
Sort your thoughts and desires. Which are pure (“heaven”) and which are dark (“earth”). Yesod.
Day 2: Firmament.
Divide your intentions; which ones are selfish and which ones are selfless. Hod.
Day 3: Earth, Sea, Vegetation.
Take your desires to receive (“earth” – left line) and combine them with bestowal (“water” – right line). Cultivate an attitude of reciprocity (receiving only to bestow back out – “vegatation” – middle line). Netzach.
Day 4: Sun, Moon, Stars.
The phases of correction are created. Tifferet.
Day 5: Birds & Sea Creatures.
Correcting egoism into altruism gradually fills the soul with Upper Light, leading towards final correction. Gevura.
Day 6: Land Animals & Humans.
The properties of the Creator implant themselves into our soul, giving power over egoism. Hesed.
Day 7: Sabbath.
Everything accumulated during prior 6 days enters Malchut. The lower begins to adopt the traits of the Upper. The Will to Bestow enters the will to receive – if egoism is cast aside (rest). Bina.

I’m confused about the Sefirot in this summary. Are they correctly attributed?
Thank you for your help!

Hi Eggie,
That’s fine. There’s no reason to enter into whether it’s right or wrong at this point. You will clarify these internally when you attain the qualities. It’s good check your boundaries but don’t go into it with your mind and try to build an imaginary picture of Sefirot. We always recommend to stick to using the writings as a way to stay adhered to the intention.
Best of luck!

Thanks Chris.
I replied to your reply twice but it didn’t show up. I had links in my reply, is that why? Idk. Maybe they’re here somewhere? I didn’t see them, though.
In my response I pointed out that the 7 days of Creation summary I posted were basically notes based on 2 articles from Rav Laitman. I use notes like this to help cement my understanding of the lesson, which, of course, is useless if they are incorrect.
You’re advice is perfect and I fully acknowledge and agree with your recommendations.
However, it’s very important to me that I have not made any mistakes with my conclusions because I intend to share this information with others (and possibly interest them into joining KabU as well).
Sorry for being a pest but if there is even one tiny mistake in my summary I would really appreciate the correction.
Thanks again.

Is the process of recognizing my evil means deteriorating my relationships..? If so than I think the right one should even enhancing my relationships right..?
- June 22, 2022 at 5:45 pm EDT #292335Chris – KabU InstructorModerator
Hi mrc,
The general trend of deteriorating relationships is the revelation of evil, yes. The cause, like you said, isn’t the recognition of evil, it just is a form, a “fruiting body” of how the ego manifests itself – as separation, hatred, inability to communicate – etc.

I’m studying Kabbalah, but i want to also enjoy worldly pleasures as if I concentrate on Spiritual pleasures while it is yet in my reach I find it hard to do worldly things if it’s not pleasurable/enjoyable and I get no pleasure whatsoever currently and don’t know until when I reach Spirituality.., and if recognizing my ego is unpleasurable and it’s the only way to reach Spirituality then I’m afraid I can’t do that because it’s unpleasurable while attaining Spirituality is uncertain and who know maybe another 2 or 3 lifetimes whereas that normal people seems happy and way much better than me.., and I remember before I started studying Kabbalah my life was great and I did not feel any error in my thinking whereas now it seems that there is a virus/bug in me, can you explain this experience.. Are the majority of the students of Kabbalah successful or miserable because I think now I kinda feel like a loser.. Help.. Thx

Hi mrc,
This is actually great. It’s the next step. You wouldn’t be shown these things, have these thoughts, feel these sensations if it wasn’t something you weren’t ready to work with correctly. The key here, and return to this frequently, the key is aiming towards None else Besides Him. This will “straighten” you out and there won’t be anyone to blame but Him and no one to fix you but Him. You just have to have the right “approach” which cannot be an approach for yourself. “Figuring out” this approach and with what to approach is the entire preparation to the path. Persistence – anything but leave.

Second question:
In the book; A guide to the hidden wisdom of kabbalah, page 46, says:
“What you do doesn’t matter, only what you aim to achieve by it”
Slavery, they made human beings slaves, as free laborers to build themselves a better future in all history.
<p data-select-link-text=”1″>Many suffered yet because of their sufferings many more benefited.</p>
How do you explain this?

Hamed,
This is just the manifestation of the human ego that wishes to control others. We can only measure benefit or harm according to the purpose of creation.
Until we consciously enter the process of correction, all of our actions are purely expressions of the ego. And we must aim to reach bestowal and love, which is opposite our natural egoistic inclination to control others.

<p data-select-link-text=”1″>If everything is predetermined and planned by the creator “even my next lunch”, sin becomes meaningless. I was watching a webinar of Dr. Laitman and when a lady raised her hand to ask a question, Dr. Laitman said it wasn’t you who raised your hand, it was the creator!</p>
Is kabbalah saying that all the evil doings comes from God, such as murder, rape, betrayal etc? did God killed millions of Jews in WW-ll?I know kabbalah recognize egoism as evil, yet according to kabbalah the source of that egoism is God himself, he made us with a will to receive, so God is to blame?

The wisdom of Kabbalah says that there is none else besides Him, besides this there is only the point of recognition of the person. This means that everything comes from the Creator, and what we receive is only pleasure.
However, because of our uncorrected vessels, we cannot correctly relate to what we receive from the Creator. For this reason, on the path of correction, we discover things that we do not understand and cannot justify.
The advice is to continue, and gradually, step by step, a person will reveal the true reality and begin to understand why everything happens and how this whole corporeal reality is merely a means to attain the spiritual reality.
Only by rising to the spiritual perception of reality can we truly understand this corporeal reality and it’s purpose.
Moreover, the Kabbalists say that this entire corporeal reality is merely an illusion. That doesn’t mean that we should disregard our current perception, but it does mean that eventually we will discover that our previous understanding was not aligned with the true reality.

But you didn’t answer my question!
I’m not asking how a person perceives the world around him, I’m asking about Kabbalah philosophy about sin and free will.
How can murder, adultery, lying etc. considered a sin when you have no free will?
- June 23, 2022 at 9:36 am EDT #292381Joseph – KabU InstructorModerator
Hamed,
According to Kabbalah, the only sin is not attributing something to the Creator, meaning that there is some other external force that acts besides Creator. Regarding humanity, there is no sin because they are completely governed by the Creator.

“Regarding humanity, there is no sin because they are completely governed by the Creator.”
How do you expect me (or anyone) to believe that God is the source of evil doings in our world?
I understand that “the egoism” is the main cause, but when you say it is -completely- governed by the creator and -we have no free will- it suggest that EVERYTHING, good and evil is coming from God. now you may answer that we don’t know the “wisdom” behind the God’s acts but yet again I refuse to believe God is evil. he can and will do whatever he sees fit by only good causes not for example by war!
“There is none good but one, that is, God.”
- June 24, 2022 at 10:44 am EDT #292439Joseph – KabU InstructorModerator
Hamed,
Don’t believe it. Don’t believe anything. You should try to attain the true reality in your own perception. This is done by systematic studying of the authentic books of Kabbalah.
Kabbalists describe reality according to two principles:
1) There Is None Else Besides Him
2) He’s the Good that Does Good
This means that only the Creator acts, and His actions are only according to what is good for us. Not according to the body but for the soul.
Of course, there is a vast difference between our perception and that of the Kabbalists. About this it is said there is none as wise as the experienced.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Should we not feel bad at our shortcomings/negative attributes because it is created/preordained in the beginning by God..?</p>
- June 15, 2022 at 5:26 am EDT #291657Joseph – KabU InstructorModerator
Hi Mrc,
There are no shortcomings when it comes to spirituality. Everyone begins from the same point and has the opportunity to fully attain the Creator according to the root of their soul. This doesn’t depend on one’s corporeal qualities and attributes, but on the efforts a person makes to build for themselves an environment that will influence them with the importance of the goal.
