Any state in which we are separated from the Creator is bad.

Hey mrc,
How are you seeing them as the same, if I can ask?

somewhere laitman says that everything is happening in our souls, and in general i’m always getting from you guys that we are trying to transform our egoistic nature to something altruistic. but i have the immediate problem of dealing with people that i perceive as aggressors and that threaten me in a very serious way… how is this all in my soul? how does changing my nature stop them from attacking me?

Hey Michael,
I’m sure you’ve had a dream you felt was real. This world is certainly “real” in the same sense. This is just the default perception for us currently. We all agree on this perception, this shared perception of the world we see. If we were to exist differently–to not chase pleasure and avoid pain but exist in order to be similar to nature, to be partners with it–this is the reality we would share. The additional sense we acquire in order to perceive the global unifying force of bestowal that connects everything into one is called the soul.
On this level, in this world, we have to act according to certain laws: don’t jump from high places or you’ll die, get checkups at the doctor, etc. If there are aggressors, then it needs to be dealt with in the framework of this world. This isn’t something Kabbalah engages in, this is just basic existential criteria.
Hope that helps,
Chris

hi i was wondering since i heard there were daily lessons with michael laitman, where do you access those? i don’t think the kabbalah.tv site works anymore, and i can’t find it in the members section of the kabu site.

Hey Michael,
Yes KabTV is an old site but I thought there was still live broadcasts there for morning lesson, that might not be the case though anymore–it has been a while since I’ve viewed from there.
Let me reach out to the team and see if I can get you an answer.
Thanks!

Hello
The creators name
its forbidden to say (meaning impossible) as it is a code, not really a word. It is felt inside us, extracted from our desires. But why was it used in earlier times as a greeting, like in Ruth 2:4. ? Thanks in advanced.

Hey Brad,
I submitted an answer here but I’m not seeing it…so I’ll try again…
In short, what a person does not attain “one cannot name”–it’s “forbidden” like you said. The senses we have in this world that give us the picture and perception of reality are only half of what we can use. Once we begin reaching equivalence of form with the upper one, we will receive new “inputs”–touch, sight, sound, taste, smell. Our gradual development gives us greater perception of the upper force through these Sefirot.
Thanks!
