JohanParticipantHi, as pessoas aqui na minha vizinhança, perto de minha casa são obcecadas com o devil. Eles ficam gritando, berrando e botando culpa em mim. O que eu deveria fazer?

JohanParticipantIf the creator is the doer of all of our actions, since there is none else beside him, where is my sense of freedom?
- March 4, 2024 at 7:53 pm EST #363426
Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorJohan,
Of course we all feel free.
Like a child playing in the yard. He doesn’t know that Dad is watching everything, to keep him safe and all the while the child feels he is free.
So it is with us, we feel that we chose what clothes to wear today, what to have for dinner, everything we feel that we did it from our own free will.

SheilaParticipantI can see that religions and Kabbalah are opposites. But still we have people in Kabbalah who stay with their religions also. If There is None Else Besides Him, and seeing another ‘force’ as equal is a sin, where does that fit with Christians who pray to Jesus instead of the Creator? If they say that Jesus is the son of God they still give the power to the son, along with or instead of the Creator. Always I hear, Jesus is our only savior, belief in Jesus will save the world.
Would a Kabbalist feel that these people are sinners, as Christians tend to call themselves? But for the reason that they see Jesus as equal in force to the Creator Himself? Or is it perhaps like the Point in the Heart, that they are just unaware of it yet, like egoists who do not feel the Point in the Heart, yet, or in this lifetime. Not sinners, due to being unaware, just following their instincts.

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorSheila,
Think of the wisdom of kabbalah as laws of nature.
The more you study it, you will understand what it says and you will see these laws in the same way as you see gravity and all of the other laws of nature that are more obvious to the senses.
So it doesn’t matter if one prays on Sunday (Christian) or Saturday (Jew) or Friday (Muslim). It doesn’t matter if one refrains from eating pig (Jew) or one refrains from eating cow (Hindu). This has nothing to do with sinning.
Regarding what people believe, these things will all work themselves out and we don’t need to worry what each and every person believes when we ourselves are still stabilizing ourselves in the spiritual perception first since the desire for this has awakened in us and it has not awakened in them, so we focus on what is in our hands to do.

ParticipantHow did the sages discern the Sefirot as a system of ten? Is the Sefirot why they say it is best to study and pray in groups of ten?

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorZachary,
When a person is travelling to Jerusalem and he has to travel 200 miles to get there, when he has travelled 199 miles, he still is not in Jerusalem. But after all of the travelling, there is one final step and then he is in Jerusalem.
Spirituality is only attained in wholeness.
When the sages attained these things, they attained the system and they write to us what they discovered.
That every spiritual object is made of 10 parts.

SheilaParticipantI am sitting here trying to form my question and my dog is just outside the door, howling away, distracting me terribly. I am losing my connection with the lesson, with the Creator, and wondering why that dog is doing that, what’s going on outside. Finally I realize that my connection to the lesson is completely gone now, I cannot concentrate, I should lock the dogs in the house when I am here at KabU.
I go outside and find that he has managed to get behind the gate and he is locked out of the yard, howling at me to come in. He had a good reason, and I laugh. The Creator has set me up with a fine example of what I just learned in this lesson and even though whatever it was I was going to write instead of this is now gone, I am feeling closer to the Creator because of it. Thank you for this lesson Tony, and Thank You to the Creator for the timely personalized example. Lately I feel chosen.

JonahParticipantThere appears to be such irony in the approach. We are so easily discouraged and so many will give up. It is as though the Creator’s methods eliminate most rsther than drawing them closer. Is the Creator being selective? Is the Creator thinning out the heard?

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorJonah,
We need some perspective.
It took a few billion years before Earth was formed and a few billion more for some mud to be burned, frozen, washed away, reassembled, smashed, etc until it started forming more and more complex life until some monkey climbed down a tree and eventually inventing a wheel and the Internet.
So by now we’re moving at a pretty good pace. Like a pyramid, the inanimate development took billions, then the vegetative, some hundred millions, then the animal degree and then the human degree is relatively new on the scene and what we call civilization and written language, etc is only a few thousand.
However, I’m with you, I’m inpatient.
