I know that u say Kabbalah is not a religion , but as a way to con ect to our creator and strive for alturism. Do you agree that in the Torah the mitzvot/ commandments are a way to con ect with the creator. And better understand his will and how to be Alturistic!

        Yehudah,
We say that kabbalah is not a religion in the sense that there are many religions and each one is another group’s interpretation on what is God and rules on how to live.
Kabbalah on the other hand is simply a science of the upper laws of nature.
It says, here are the qualities of the Creator.  Here are the qualities of creation.  Here are how the forces are operating between them and here is how the creation can come into equivalence with the Creator.
The wisdom of kabbalah does not care if a person is a Hindu or a Christian, or from any other place.
A mitzvah is a correction upon a desire that changes it from egoistic to altruistic.  The Light of the Torah performs this change.

What is a “sure” way to nurture and grow my “point in the heart”? I know that watching and reading Kabbalah material, and living by the general rule of treat your friend as yourself are sure ways. But is there another way to provide a boost to grow this “point” beyond these things? And how do I know if I’m making progress? Do I feel it in different sensations, like sunlight on my skin? I’ve noticed lately I literally seem to feel “high” from direct sunlight, and literally feel as though it is healing me, where as usually, I abhor sunlight; is this a sign of spiritual growth? I’ve also felt as though I can hear different “layers” of sound that I’ve never really been attuned to before, almost like I feel vibrations of sound moreso than usual in my right ear specifically, are these sharpening of senses a sign that my point in the heart is growing?

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question, I look forward to seeing a response.

        Zori,
The things that you mentioned are the sure way to reach this blossoming.
For example, you go to the best dance instructor in the world and you ask, “What can I do to be the best dancer in the world?!  Tell me and I will write down all of the advice in my notebook.”  And the best dance instructor in the world tells you every secret to be the best dance instructor in the world.
My question to you is, now that you wrote it all down in your notebook, has that made you the best dancer in the world, or can you say, now the key is in your hand, but now you need to do all of the efforts required to be the best dancer in the world.

Also, if it’s not too much to ask: I’d really like to know if Jesus was a real person and whether or not he was sent down from Atzilut by the Creator to try to show us— for lack of better terms—“Godliness” in physical form, so we could possibly start to understand? And if he was here at all in physical form—was this the purpose it served?

          Zori,
Jesus is not mentioned by the kabbalists in their books so we do not study about him.
However certainly there are many ways that the Creator awakened people from a beastly state towards a higher degree.

        Anja,
Soon you will discover that it is all the Creator behind all of the faces.
Then we will see that only our perception needs to change.
        Soon…

am i on the right understanding if i would say that the love we give us in between creatures is coming from égoïstic desire. The only altruistique love i can gîve to some other humain is to help him to go closder to god.

      • #434400

        Anja,
Everything we do, even to help someone get closer to God, it all comes from our ego.
But you are thinking in the right direction.
If there is a society that convinces a person, not through coercion but through example, that love is more important than ego, than a person starts to believe that this is so and this gives a person the power to begin to act little by little towards God, love, connection.  This draws upon a person upper lights and changes a person’s nature.
