Thank you for this video. I would like to ask. If at the spiritual level of Malchut, we develop a filter that changes our intensions to that of equivalence of form (Altruistic). In that point when we are restricting our reception are we in any way rejecting the givers full intension by not receiving fully or are we in fact fulfilling the original intension by becoming like the Giver in essence.

How does it look like? In the video there was an example about the dinner analogy between the host and the guest.
does this take place in all actions between 2 people ( giver and receiver ) ?
also, is it true to say the the creator is a receiver and depends on us to give in order to exist?
Thank youTamar

Tamar,
At every moment of our lives we are in this example. We don’t feel that life is sustained at every. moment by the Creator. Every breath, every sip of water every heart beat, do we feel the Giver?
We can say that the Creator desires to fill the creature with pleasure.
Imagine that a mother makes a meal for her children.
If the children refuse to eat, maybe the child doesn’t feel well and the mom is upset about it.
But when the child will finally accept the food and eat, the mother feels pleasure.
So the act is not about physically receiving or giving the food, but the act is the internal movement.

Does the light have the sefirots K – H – B – ZA – M as the desire to receive ?
Does the light tranform itself to satisfy the desire to receive ?

Amani,
The light that emanates from the Creator is called the light of hochma. It is the light of pleasure and fulfillement.
It cannot be felt in material vessels.
It can only be felt in “spiritual” vessels.
The light emanates out of the Creator and the kabbalists describe the cascading of the light in four phases plus the root. Keter, Hochma, Bina, ZA and Malchut.
The vessel performs several operations, at first she can’t be like the light since she has not light to give, but she can stop receiving. If she stops receiving, then at least she is not opposite from the light.
Then she calculates that she will receive but only as much as she can receive in order to give pleasure to the Creator.
By this the light works on the vessel and slowly transforms it into a vessel that can receive spiritual pleasure.
