Preparation Question: In what way have I gained a deeper understanding of my life and of the forces working in the world?

I have let go of trying to control as now I know it is of no effect. I want to understand more about recognizing when my ego is taking over.

I have gained deeper understanding of my life by daily application of the little I know

I am trying my best to work with my ego where as before, I just wanted to get rid of it somehow.

I have learn that my desires have to move from egoism to altruism to able perceive the real nature of everything.

My perception of this life has changed in that I now see this life as a constant series of events and experiences that can each be used to grow my vessel to become more like the creator.  Each moment has its opportunity to emulate the creator.  While its not the easiest thing to do in practice, I trust that with practice, I will expand my capacity for light and make my way back to the source.

I have gained the understanding that there are Forces that are governing our reality, and that I must train myself to have an alignment of qualities between myself and the Creator. In other words I should try my best to have qualities similar to the qualities of the creator. This is the only way to become closer to him/her.

I also must love my friend as myself always and most importantly keep studying Kabbalah.
