ParticipantMy goal is to keep consistently studying every regularly first of all. I personally have to make sure I give myself time for leisure, social, and recreational activities or I will quickly burn out. At times I feel like I hit these points or dissatisfaction in the progress I’m making or am lacking motivation due to losing interest in the study materials. I have to see the value in what I’m studying above other subjects or I will quickly move to something different. I have felt that way in kabbalah a few times. Sometimes I feel like I’m not moving fast enough or that I could be getting farther along if I was into other areas of spirituality. These courses have helped me maintain a structured path with the learning plans and courses. I really hope to be able to utilize the knowledge gained as well as open some doors to higher levels of attainment through my time and efforts put into here

ParticipantI’m not sure what the right answer is in Kabbalah, but for me (at least in this stage of my development) the most important goal is to know just exactly what the bleep this experience really is and to know it with 100% certainty. Not take it on faith or read it in a book and think it sounds good, but KNOW it for an absolute provable fact with zero doubt or possibility of doubt.
Then perhaps I could make a decision on the best course of action.
It might be wiser to just aim for being happy, but with looming death at the end of this experience, how can anyone be happy? That’s like trying to enjoy a day at a theme park knowing someone is going to shoot you in the head at the end of the day.
There has to be more than just this mundane life and it’s the only hope I have of not ceasing to exist at the end.
If there isn’t more, then there is no point to anything anyway. So may as well spend my time on the only thing that interests me. Even if it’s delusion it’s better than the alternative. At least it gives me hope.
