I appreciate the concept of having more compassion and acceptance for my egoistic flaws. That the ego is normal and we each have to deal with it. I will focus moment by moment, on how I can rise above impatience and anger, and set the example at creating a shared space of love and appreciation of each other.

How often do I notice how different my partner and I are, and silently think how “he” should be. I’m just now wondering if his thoughts are the same towards me! Whether he thinks his perspective is always the best. How I should be more like him… Yes we “are” seeing ourselves in the other, and yes the other is helping us grow out of it, and carry it outward towards the rest of humanity.AndreanneParticipantAs Baal HaSulam describes, “namely that each and every individual will understand that his own benefit and the benefit of the collective are one and the same, and by this, the world will come to its full correction”.
Each will understand their impact on the collective; that what benefits one benefits all, and what harms one harms us all.
AndreanneParticipantThe correction starts with us. The only way we can hope to contribute to world peace is by working on ego annulment, transforming egoism into altruism, and seeking spiritual progress
