Connecting with others means holding that impossible intention to bestow and praying for the creator to make it real, since my egoistic nature won’t allow me to do it on my own. Our desire to be changed by the process is what connects me to my soul.
June 18, 2023 at 4:32 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: Starting a new course in Kabbalah is similar to a fetus moving on to a new trimester. The warm and fulfilling womb is still the same, but the desire and needs of the future human are evolving. Before we start the first week let’s set our expectations. How do we want the womb (Light) to influence and evolve us? What do we desire to achieve in this semester? #323026Ann StephensParticipantMy desire for this semester is to continue to experience the wisdom, even if only as a tiny glimpse in the periphery of my field of “vision”. I would like the light to evolve me by increasing my desire to adhere to the creator.

What do I expect from this course? #322895Ann StephensParticipantMy favorite experience from Kabbalah in Action was the live Q&A with Julian. Everyone’s questions were also questions that I have had. I am looking forward to connecting with the others during this course.
Ann StephensParticipantI wish for my fellow students to reach pure adhesion with the creator.
June 15, 2023 at 8:29 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: Imagine if people were connected according to the spiritual law of love. How would these many issues be approached differently? #322253Ann StephensParticipantIf people were connected according to the spiritual law of love, each person would be concerned only about how to increase their own capacity to bestow upon humanity. Eventually, all of the issues that plague humanity today would cease to exist, as we would have the capacity to address them at a level that is higher than the level that created them.

I love the idea that I can pray to want what the creator wants as a sort of pre-prayer, as I see that I am too egoistic at this point to be able to always offer up a true altruistic desire.
