aviParticipantI really connected with the video of the swarm of birds. I always wondered how they (being “dumb” animals) can be in such perfect sync, and we as “smart” people cannot get it right. Now I know, we can also be like that. We just need to stop trying to be so individualistic, and become part of nature – and put the needs of the whole above our personal desires.
August 3, 2025 at 11:59 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: Congratulations on progressing through the intermediary stages of your Kabbalah learning by staring this new course! Since the wisdom of Kabbalah deals with developing our precious eternal part—the soul—it is important to take a moment to note your expectations from this stage of your journey, and later check back and see what aligned with or differed from your expectations, and how you might’ve changed in the process: What do you hope to get out of this course you’re now starting? #447639
aviParticipantI wish to get from theory to practice. The ideas are amazing, but I need to get to the point where I can implement and practice it in such a way that it will actually impact my life on a day to day basis.

aviParticipantIf everyone must reach the ultimate goal – of loving your friend as yourself, and being in equivalence of form with the creator – how about people that cannot mentally do this? People with mental disabilities or serious personality disorders or brain damage for instance. I understand that I must only focus on myself and my journey (for now) – but just wondering about Kabbalah’s view on this issue.

aviParticipantTo not try to change others, but focus on myself (with help of others) to reach that goal. To be like the creator.

aviParticipantWe need to view reality as nature, all good, all giving. Reality happens for us, not to us.

aviParticipantHi – we (my wife and I) have been doing some of the KabU courses over the last few months. Would love to meet some people in our area/province who are also into this. Would KabU be able to help us find people like this?
