ParticipantSo how is empirical evidence categorized in Kabbalah, and is it considered as true reality?
We might all perceive reality in different ways as well as experiencing different levels of reality (for instance, one particular dish may taste delicious to one person and disgusting to another, or a dress may look white and gold to a set of eyes whereas different eyes may see the very same dress as blue and black). However, it is universally known that if one touches fire they will get burnt, if one looks at the sun directly they will get blinded, if one tastes a lemon it will leave a sour taste in their mouth. We may also argue that if one sees a car crossing with a red light they have just witnessed an infraction. Since we have experienced the above events from inside our own box, does that mean those events are not real?
When do we draw the line between what is real and what is not while experiencing reality with our own five limited senses?
Thank you very much!

ParticipantTo a deeper, more authentic level of reality, one that we are unable to perceive with our limited and filtered five senses.

ParticipantHello!
I am enjoying this course enormously so far however, as a Kabbalah neophyte, I am finding its concepts very obscure and abstract as well as quite difficult to fully comprehend at this early stage.
Something that has truly impressed me so far, is the fact that Kabbalah introduces science, which basically explains numerous laws of the material world, into its teachings.
Thus, my question is, since science adopts evidence to explain every law in nature, what is the proof, or evidence, that Kabbalah is a tool to explain the forces in the material world, which are basically a consequence from a deeper level of reality.
Or shall we just limit ourselves to believe in the laws of Kabbalah just by mere faith, which in that case would render Kabbalah a religion no different than Christianity or Islam.
Thanks very much!

ParticipantI expect to find an initial foundation to which to build upon, in order to start making positive changes and meaningful contributions to my currently less than perfect life.

ParticipantHello everyone, this is Claudio! Thanks for letting me partake in this course and for welcoming me to this group! I signed up to KabUÂ as I am feeling a bit lost spiritually and I wish to find my way back home. Looking forward to experience at least even a glimpse of the light that students of Kabbalah seem to be very familiar with.
