What inspired me in this course?
The inspiration is that if we humans turn our egoistic desires into altruistic desires, we actually can transform our present reality which is full of self-centered actions and so empty of Love!
What have I learned about myself in this process?
I learned that I resist the change from an egoistic to an altruistic way of being. If the world is to change, the majority of people who take part in it must change too, which brings up the question “Who is first to change?” and I think, we as future Kabalists should bear this burden of being the first ones who ignite this fire, for a greater good. This is hard to swim against the current, but if we consider the fact that the current is made up of the movement of every individual, we conclude that by changing the majority of these individuals, the current will reverse.
What do I wish for my fellow students?
I wish for every one of us, holistic strength and resilience, a soft and tender heart that can be as hard as a diamond if needed. An open and curious mind that can be as sharp as a razor blade in time of need. And a healthy body that can carry us through this change.
MehrardiParticipantI wish the truth be revealed to all of us!

Not just a single entity. I want the illusion of separation to end. It’s so painful and depressive.

As I look at this world, I see that all the beings in this realm are interdependent and somehow connected to one another. But Kabbalah so far explains that we, creatures of this physical world have no influence on the spiritual worlds and all the causes are somehow directed from the worlds above, downward to our physical world.
So that means those forces have influence over us, while we have no influence over them. Seems like a one way street. Doesn’t that violate the principal of interconnectedness of existence? I mean what kind of an internet would it be if you were only able to download stuff and no uploads were allowed?

Just like the human legal system that puts people who are harmful to society behind the walls, separated from the rest, the creator has put us behind the barriers so we wouldn’t harm the rest of the worlds. It might look a little dark and cruel but as soon as we take a look at our situation as egoistic creatures, we realize it had to be done in order for us to realize our harmfulness to the nature. I think kabbalah is a method for humans to decrease the time they have to spend in the prison by speeding up the realization of this fact that we are interworld criminals. xD
And for sure start to change our intentions and motives.
