We can attract the surrounding light by working on our vessel for spirituality. We do this by Thinking and studying it often. The more you put time into something you want, the larger that desire becomes.

July 19, 2021 at 6:13 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: Congratulations on progressing through the intermediary stages of your Kabbalah learning by staring this new course! Since the wisdom of Kabbalah deals with developing our precious eternal part—the soul—it is important to take a moment to note your expectations from this stage of your journey, and later check back and see what aligned with or differed from your expectations, and how you might’ve changed in the process: What do you hope to get out of this course you’re now starting? #57920DouglasParticipantI want to have a firm understanding and a clear perception of life. I am excited to learn how to put into action all the things we have learned over the past few courses.
July 16, 2021 at 1:55 am EDT in reply to: What was my best experience from the previous course? What do I expect from this course? #57515DouglasParticipantI learned a lot about myself. I’ve started to look for the Creator in everything and everyone, and to look for what connects us all together.
I look forward to the course teaching me how to not get in my own way, and to actually bring this into my every day life!
DouglasParticipantI am inspired by the path laid in front of us, each of us. If effort is made, these steps, these degrees, are doable! Achieving the thought behind the creation is possible and something we need, and ultimately will, do.
I have learned that not only do we have our base ego, it extends into the spiritual. Our ego is always in the background with a megaphone pulling our attention away from the correct intention. My ego is always, always, looking for ways to make it about me, seeking knowledge for the wrong reasons, doing things for the wrong reasons. But I have also come to see how by recognising the tricks of the ego, becoming aware of it can help you rise above it. To have the opposite intention the ego would have you hold. I have seen the difference that having the right intention and perception can have.
I wish for all my fellow students to thoroughly examine themselves regularly and put their intentions under a microscope. Strive to only see one soul instead of all the apparent separateness until it becomes 2nd nature. Love each other as thyself, because they are you, and you they.
It’s a constant up and down, but up is the destinationJuly 12, 2021 at 3:39 pm EDT in reply to: Reflect: Share something from the lesson that blew your mind, or even just gave you a new perspective. #57220DouglasParticipantMy deepest prayer and desire is to have, to be given this perception as is talked about in the Video: Correcting the world. I ask that I can see others as myself in my day to day life, and that my actions towards others reflect this perception.
