Is the 613 laws of love or laws of bestowal the same as the 613 Commandments (Mitzvot), where the 10 Commandments taught in Christianity is also derived from?

I just know and feel that there is something greater than myself and what I perceive.  But I still feel lost.  Why?  What? How come? Still many questions are not answered.

For week 1 – I would like to really understand what Kabbalah is, and how it will help me with my questions, such as, what is the point of all these? what is the purpose of my life? what is beyond this life?
