Julian, I have been on board since the beginning of these semesters. I took notes, I drew symbols to stay on top from Bestowal to Receiving. In other words, I have kept myself in touch with my little notebook. However, this week’s lesson and especially the way you summarized all of the previous weeks’ lessons, I realized that I no longer needed to reread my notes. You brought it all together. As I was listening to you, so many memories came to mind in which I questioned myself “did I do that be kind or be rude?” in terms of, “have I been on a good path?” There are soooo many ways in which I questioned my actions from my past and drawing a line forward as my life changed drastically at different points, good, bad, suffering. You allowed me to backtrack and be in the present. However, mostly, to realize where I am moving towards and that will be towards Bestowal and Alignment with the Creator. Thank you!
I thought I knew myself pretty well. However, the previous course gave me a deeper sense of who I am. I am sure that this new course will not only show me more of who I am and also give me the tools to practice what I have learned in a deeper sense and more profound.
I had much to say about what I have learned about myself in the process. However, I pressed the wrong key and lost it all. Therefore, I will summarize that I have been and continue to be a happy person who lends out a hand to anyone in need. Having stated that, I believe that I was meant to learn Kabbalah with true Kabbalist instructors. It appears that in a small way, the path I have been in has lead me here. In terms of “Love others as one loves thyself,” I also believe I have done my tiny share and I am here learning how to expand that small point in the heart. In terms of Egoism, I have learned what it is and how to transform that to Altruism. Thank you.
I have watched all videos, responded to the posts from the beginning of the course, I have found everything extremely and extraordinary interesting and eye-opening into a world I knew existed, but no more than that. Since the moment I began learning and understanding, it seems to me and maybe I am just too in tuned that in every song I hear, a movie I happen to watch, a comment I happen to hear, and more other things, I see/hear words however isolated they are, they all speak of Kabbalah. I can recognize them and relate to the video, lesson, etc. that I have been learning. Does this mean that I am close to being able to release my ego and be closer to bestowal?
How to transform the world we live in and change the destruction that is occurring throughout with egos in a community and egos in one country and lastly egos worldwide through wars? Understanding from the videos regarding prayer and expanding/connecting first to self in the point of the heart and then connecting to others allows me to remember how my parents’ wisdom was handed down to us by teaching wisdom; however more importantly passing on that wisdom through example; “actions speak louder than words” when words do not align with examples and vice versa. I followed their examples with my own children. The point I am trying to make is that to achieve one’s own intent to reach our point in the heart and be successful; the next step would be to connect with others by teaching and setting the example of this great wisdom; continuing to expand the connection further and further to other groups.
