From everything I’ve learned until now, our work with the reforming light is about maintenance on our  environment. Actively refining our environment. This requires preparation (studying) and it requires prayer. Prayer and trying to bestow to the creator are a couple of the ways that we strengthen the influence that the reforming light has on our lives.
September 19, 2022 at 8:25 am EDT in reply to: Preparation Prompt: What does transitioning from a self-centered perception of reality to one grounded in altruism entail? #300219VictoriaParticipantIt means being in an environment that is fixated on what I don’t have or what I want versus creating/praying for an environment where what matters is what the Creator wants. AKA reception vs bestowal
September 11, 2022 at 12:07 am EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: Congratulations on progressing through the intermediary stages of your Kabbalah learning by staring this new course! Since the wisdom of Kabbalah deals with developing our precious eternal part—the soul—it is important to take a moment to note your expectations from this stage of your journey, and later check back and see what aligned with or differed from your expectations, and how you might’ve changed in the process: What do you hope to get out of this course you’re now starting? #299706VictoriaParticipantI wish to evolve gracefully, refining the ego voluntarily. That is what I hope to achieve this semester. I hope to improve my understanding and grasp of life so that I will be in God’s grace.
September 9, 2022 at 6:22 pm EDT in reply to: What was my best experience from the previous course? What do I expect from this course? #299648VictoriaParticipantMy best experience from the previous course? Feeling like I understand why I exist. That’s pretty reaffirming. Feeling peace. That’s always amazing and won’t ever get old.
I expect (and am very excited about) learning how a Kabbalist prays. Also, I’m curious about the Kabbalist toolkit.
VictoriaParticipantWhat most inspired me in the course?
Kabbalah has become an intimate part of my life now. I feel deeply connected to the information given in the course, to the lessons and the videos. I’m very thankful for this new light in my life that just keeps growing.
What have I learned about myself in the process?
So much. I’ve learned who I am, where I come from, what my purpose is, how to be unconditionally joyful, how to handle life’s problems, what is life’s purpose, why people act the way they do, why I act the way I do, and how I can become a better person.
What do I wish for my fellow students in their spiritual development?
I wish for us, my fellow kabbalah student…. a life of deep spiritual and relational fulfillment, joy, satisfaction and ultimately I wish for us omniscience and union with all of life and our creator.
August 21, 2022 at 2:16 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: The importance of clearly defining the goal in the study of Kabbalah is the beginning of the path. Once the goal is defined, you will continue to refine it to keep yourself perfectly aimed at the target. How would you currently define the goal for which you are studying? #297799VictoriaParticipantThe goal for which i am studying is to successfully interface with life.
