Hi. I have a question regarding the concept of prayer towards the Creator: through prayer, we ask God or the Creator to change their ideas or behaviour towards us, as if we are making a plea. It is my understanding from the lesson that the upper forces don’t change or bend in response to our prayers. The only way is to rise above that need or wanting.
In the same video, it was said that Lishma is granted from above if we reach a certain state or level. Does it mean that the upper forces or the Creator respond to a certain state of being in an individual? Does it mean that we need to work our way through certain states to be ready for the Lishma to come to us? How does it work? The only way is to become like creator, the creator doesn’t do anything and unresponsive to prayers, and we can not proceed unless we are ranked or chosen? Could you please shed some light?
My goal is to achieve a deep and embodied understanding of why I am here, where I am headed to and what I am supposed to do. Obviously, I want the walk to be joyous and fulfilling. I am afraid of death. The other side is uncertain. Why am I here? Who is the one who sees, feels thinks , and lives and to what end?
Freedom in this world, to me, means having, doing, and enjoying what you want and desire. As I was created to receive, I found it bizarre to be created to receive yet always be envious of what I don’t have.
How can the light help? Either by eliminating the desires, changing them, or bestowing on me what I desire.

One more clarification, please: the cause and effect in this case doesn’t follow the corporeal laws. Does it? For example, just thinking and dreaming about being rich every minute has never made anyone rich. You may dream all you want, but you also need to take some form of action to gradually get there. Starting to receive the Light by reading Kabbalistic texts because there is a desire to receive the Light is like starting to get rich through a burning desire and reading different books, such as “Think and Grow Rich”, etc., without any action. So, what’s the verdict here? Are the cause-and-effect laws in Kabbalah different, or are they similar to corporeality and require some action? If so, what’s the action? I hope I could get the message across.
Hi. I have a few questions about this week’s content. In the related material, I learned about the language of roots and branches. According to this, and what is clarified in the book ” Kabbalah for Students”, as long as we are in the world of branches, we never attain the spiritual meaning of their roots. The roots are the means by which Kabbalists exchange and discuss spiritual concepts among themselves. There is no way to understand the hidden meaning no matter how hard you try. You’ll understand, apparently, only with help from above and the attainment process. So, why is it emphasized, many times, that reading the authentic Kabbalah books, which are only understood by us in their corporeal form, will help with attainment? Is it like magic (Kabbalah is not magic) or by dedicating your time and commitment to reading something you won’t understand until the creator considers me worthy and give me something out of pity or as a reward for my desire?
Second question is about the groups of ten. As we are hard wired to receive, every attempt made to get beyond the Masach, is based on the will to receive. The intention is originally receiving the “will to bestow” and being equivalent to the Creator in form. Every attempt we make in this journey is to become or “receive” the creator’s form. The intention is to receive in order to give. The fact that we will give doesn’t eliminate the very first intention that is “to receive” that quality. How does it work and how this paradox can be explained?
Honestly, the further I go, the more confused I become. I understand the figurative meaning of the nice words here and there. I understand that the entire reality, perceived as good or evil are the actions of the creator. So, theoretically, everything is good as everything is his action or thoughts/plans. But in everyday life, good is good and bad is bad. No matter how I interpret the pain on paper, pain always hurts.
I have mixed thoughts. Why did the creator create us in the first place, on this plane, not somewhere else? Why did he ever need this creation, and then send us down 125 steps just to crawl back up where we were?
Why the need or will to bestow so that a receiver is required? Why are the numbers and stages as they are? Why are Kabbalah books recommended when it is explicitly stressed that, as long as we are in the branches level, we will never understand the roots up there and their intended meanings?  He is all good, all giving, all loving, he is all – so far nothing different from religion. Said by those who attained. If I attain, I’ll s see; if not, I won’t, no matter how many times I read the book cover to cover.
