Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Tiago,
<p style=”text-align: left;”>No, the wisdom of Kabbalah can’t affect one’s mental health because one agrees to all the states he goes through. He can go back to his regular sensations if he wishes. But then, of course, he turns back the way he came on the way to the “King’s Palace”. Baal HaSulam writes about how “the guards” on the way are increasingly cunning, which is why most give up and never taste spirituality. He did not have enough of the right desire to mount the trail that goes all the way to the gates of the palace. Only if besides his own private desire he integrates with the desires of friends on the same path will he have the required desire, a desire of a certain quality that must consist of desires not belonging to any single individual. Of course in the process of trying to connect – because no one wants that, by our very nature – their will be some friction. But in the right environment, it should all happen in a controlled way where the environment compels us to immediately find a spiritual solution, and not to just argue. We will see what this means when we come to it, these aren’t fights like we might be imagining but problems in connection due to the fact that we are the product of a Shattering and are broken, and we turn to the Upper Force, being the only thing that can repair us.</p>December 12, 2021 at 8:25 pm EST in reply to: Engage in an exploration of the week 2 lesson and materials, receiving insights from a seasoned Kabbalah mentor. #219499
Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorWhatever he will do, by this means or that means, with understanding or without, he will not alter his destiny. He can know that in a minute he will fall off a cliff, and in a minute, wherever he runs, he will fall off that cliff. He is in a forcefield, about which he can do nothing. If he does not change himself on the inside, by the Reforming Light, which is only through the wisdom of Kabbalah, then no matter what he does, he will fall off the cliff he is supposed to fall off of. He can do whatever he wants. Pray, anything he wants. But he will fall off. Then, he will enter a reality in which he doesn’t know to try to play around with things and again he will have another opportunity to play by the normal rules. Without magic, without cards, without nothing. With normal legs and arms. With the regular rules of reality. Except there is a method, with a group, with a teacher, with correct books, to draw the Reforming Light and move closer to the spiritual goal. Otherwise he’s in a Mario Brothers game, he can do whatever he wants before the pit he’s going to fall into, but a bit forward and he’s falling into the pit, and next time, same pit. Until he takes the correct method by which to leap above his ego. And there are no other methods but the wisdom of Kabbalah to leap above.

Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorYes, that’s enough. It’s the effort that brings the Light that brings the inner change that brings the feeling that brings the understanding. My job is only to give you enough to somehow hang on to the lesson, so that meanwhile the Light works on the student.

Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Jonah,
Everything in our world is a result of the Thought of Creation. We’re just realizing one by one the inevitable stages required to bring about the end state in that Thought. And so there is no choice, only a sensation that we’re choosing, that the past is the cause of the current state, but it’s not so. The future causes the current state, and the next and the next state. All we can do is bring about the next state more quickly and pleasantly. By starting to bring about these states that are in the cannon we start feeling we’re participants in the Plan, that although the teacher is gibing assignments we’re not drowning in them but nailing each one with relative ease at a brisk clip towards our good future.

Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorNothing special about it, there were people who, being closer to nature, could tell the next frame in a person’s narrative, like animals who, because they are in touch with nature, all head for the hills a day or so before a tsunami hits, while the humans, because they are so distant from nature today, go out to the beach to view the pretty wave coming, which inevitably swallows them. It’s actually far from spirituality, in the opposite direction, if it’s a real sense and not just a charlatan lying to people to make money. But even if a person can get their fortune told, there’s still free choice if they have the method by which to go above nature and hasten their good, beautiful destiny. No one can predict that, but only predict the predestined corporeal sequence of frames. Because those exist in the system, in one-dimensional storage, only they’re being realized by us one by one. However, the knowledge of those frames is also utterly useless because – and this is hard for us to understand – if we would know what will happen, like Oedipus sailing around the globe to avoid his destiny but ultimately carrying it out nevertheless, we would not be able to avoid a single iota of our destiny by knowing about it – and nothing is more painful than that, which is why it’s also better not to know about it. Therefore, there is nothing to do besides study the method by which we hasten our good future and go through all the inescapable states but in a fast pleasant way, like stages of a great adventure.

Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorThat’s all good except for the conclusion: nothing will happen naturally. I need to go through a process that is the root and model for the birthing process that happens in our world, except I’m not only the sperm that has to make it to the egg and adhere to the womb, but I have to build the womb itself and then stick there. This means I must build myself a nurturing womb, meaning a Kabbalistic group (which will be provided in the graduate program) and make it great in my eyes, such that I want it to be as my mother and north star, spiritually. The first part of the path is only in adhering to this concept of a group as though through it I will be adhering to the Creator. And only with this aim: from my Point in the Heart, through the friends, to the Creator it is considered that I am heading towards the goal. All that you said subsumes within this navigation.
Here, so that every step of the way would be by one’s free choice, nothing happens automatically if you don’t build it.
