Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorI’m not sure what your question relates to exactly. But I’ll give an answer and you can re-ask if needed.
Maybe you refer to the idea that we need to play the state that we want to be in? This is seemingly the least serious thing, and yet it is paradoxically the most serious thing – it’s the only thing. To play a state you’re absolutely not in yet, but which exists in the program of nature in potential is to draw evolutionary forces from that future state, which exists whether we want to head towards it or not. If the forces lined-up to bring us to that future state come from behind, it’ll be unpleasant. This is the shape of everything going on around us today.
Now, we don’t have the insights to know what our future state should look like. That’s why we can’t get an insight, apply it, improve – as you say. The only really good future, and the future in which all the good that can be exists, is a future in which I learn what the system is like in which I exist in an interconnected way with everyone else. Meaning what my thoughts would be like then, what my feelings would be like, my desires, etc.
More towards connection with everyone will be good, and all that’s inside that state will be good; and less connected will certainly be bad.

Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Joseph,
All the above is normal. One who comes to Kabbalah is not attracted to connection because he has to realize connection only in order to reach equivalence with the Creator. You see, connection in which there is no benefit in this world whatsoever cannot be attractive. And that is why upon this connection it is possible to place the intention with which one reaches equivalence with the Creator; while in the types of connection I would get into whether Kabbalah exists or not, it is impossible to place a correct intention since I would have done it anyway, with my regular egoistic intention. Now, the feeling in connection comes, but only after I put in the efforts in that direction.

Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Francisco,
Sorry I missed this. This concept is so wrong that it is worthwhile to throw it away and start over. No calculation about how it works will be correct. We’re in a big, interconnected system, the interactions and ricochets in which expand across lifetimes and above time-states. But more than that, the reasoning for what happens in this system is above any reasoning we have.
If a person is trying with all his might to correct himself, no matter what he did, even if he did atrocities, if now he’s trying with all his might to reach spiritual correction, and he does so in a direction that is correct, meaning according to Kabbalists, then, since he is now heading towards the true purpose of his life, and his correction, he can become completely purified and beloved by the Upper Force. Everyone has this destiny before them. Meaning what he did before he knew about the true purpose of life was all in the hands of the Creator, even if one was the most evil in history; while what one does after he discovers the goal of life, he’s accountable for; and then he can start distancing or coming closer to the Creator. And then there is a very different calculation with him from Above.
Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Arian,
The desire whole was created and it exists. To be able to receive in it, it needs to be in a different form than it is as it was created by the Creator. It needs to be Restricted completely. Then, it can be divided into parts. There is a part that cannot be received in at all: Sof. There is a part that could be received in, in order to bestow: Guf. And there is the part in which this calculation is made: Rosh.
Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorWait. You mean during the Four Phases of Direct Light? There, there is no Restriction yet. There, we’re not even talking about a Screen. Only after the Restriction (Tzimzum) we talk about a Screen.
You’re asking about Bina, that she decides not to receive, except for the Light of Hassidim. But this is not on top of the complete desire of Malchut. It’s on a small desire. It’s like a small child wearing his dad’s suit, and he says, “I’m big, I’m out on my own now.” So, then he decides how much to receive, how much not; but he’s still totally under the power of the parent, not even considered to be separate yet.
But in that state, Bina does decide that it’s better to bestow than receive. It’s a higher pleasure, more exalted. Because in that I can be like the Upper Force that only bestows.
And I can still answer your question. The Masach doesn’t make the pleasure of bestowing more than the pleasure of receiving, greater. The pleasure of bestowing is greater, and a billion times greater than the pleasure in receiving. But it depends on whether I have a Kli for that pleasure; or do I only have a Kli for reception. “There is no Light without a Kli.”

It’s not the whole text but I believe it includes at least that part.
