If Kabbalists wrote about something in the spiritual roots, then the root must touch its branch in this world. But it doesn’t mean it happens as we imagine it. For example, people imagined, based on the Torah, a man who lives in the sky with a white beard. It works for mankind. It doesn’t work for the Creator. We can’t stand just an interplay of forces. Even electricity we have to draw with squiggly yellow lines. So here too we want to be able to depict the interplay of forces in a way that suits us. While the reality is different. We have to attain those states to really know them.
That’s the creation. The shattering is increasingly revealed and we have to correct it. Or better put, the Creator has to. We only put in efforts up to the point of the Sayah (quota) and then the Creator corrects all these efforts and fills us. We’re always wrong, as much as we aim for precision this aim is only called an effort. It will never be correct or enough. But we pour as much effort as we can and the Creator has the x-ray of our heart to say when we’ve done all we could’ve. From every state we have the resources we need in the environment. But each time we want to do it by ourselves or in some new corrupt way. And only more efforts will activate the light by which we come out of it. One who leaves, it’s only because he stopped making enough real efforts in the heart.
If I integrate with my friends then I have from them a deficiency that comes from the center of the ten. They want to reveal Him and give Him contentment. We are one in this deficiency. He wants the same. Thus, He can grant this prayer. But most of our world until then is to make many prayers, as much as possible activating the mind and heart, not just words and the mind. This means trying to BE in states that are closer to love and bestowal. That’s already a kind of prayer.
Yes. For now, whatever sounds similar to something we have, is only by way of analogy. And later, the course will talk about where we come in, below this system, which we need to rise through. And for this reason, we need to learn about it.
To show me that I still prefer reception to bestowal, sometimes. So, I’ll realize that my desire is not yet strong enough for spirituality, and I need strengthening in the spiritual society, so that in all circumstances I’ll prefer bestowal to reception. I still need to live my life properly in this world, but you asked about a desire disconnecting me from spirituality, while it could’ve been that I’m living my life with a desire that resides in my spiritual work, like a mother who goes to work at does her job but her desire is home with her sick child.
