We’re sincerely grateful to the Creator for sending us a very wealthy person who (as there always were in the past standing against Kabbalists) for ten years, sued us, for anything and everything he could think of, ultimately spending millions of dollars only in order to, in the end, publish the wisdom of Kabbalah even more widely, though he had hoped to have the opposite effect. After more than ten years of testimony, witnesses, and evidence, brought by the best attorneys money can buy, our accuser was, in turn, accused, by the judge in the case, of contempt of the court for intentionally and maliciously trying to slander our organization – and we anticipate his court-ordered public apology to be published in a major publication at his expense.

But as I said, he simply joins, by the Creator who operated him, a long tradition of those who are enraged by the very existence of the wisdom of Kabbalah. It’s because it’s the method of correction, all that one came to this world to do, and that’s why a person who knows of it but also doesn’t want to correct himself feels that it is truly mocking and opposing him.

It’s not a unique occurrence but a law of nature, and its necessity is explained in these texts:

So, any publicity is good, and it’s also the Creator’s will. One with a Point in the Heart nevertheless has a built-in truth-detector, for finding the place of authentic wisdom (during the time while this Point is awakened) and nothing can turn him off. He doesn’t listen to anyone. While for all others, it’s better they hear about the wisdom of Kabbalah than not, even if it’s not in the best light. It makes no difference, they’ll forget, and what remains is that they’ve heard of it. Because eventually, everyone will need it.

They’re almost the words of Baal HaSulam, which I’m using to answer.

Aviut is a good thing if it’s used to bestow. When it can’t be, there is judgement over it.

Tree of knowledge it is called if he wants to receive within reason, tree of life if he only goes above reason. Because I can’t receive from Above down, in my nature as it is. The goal was to invert my nature to that of the Creator, bestowal. That’s why I’m not allowed to receive from the tree of knowledge.

Bina can’t rescue herself from within the Malchut except by someone else coming to her rescue. She has the key for the others’ cells, they hold the key to hers. She can scream all she wants as a prisoner in solitary confinement can scream all they want.

No, this is already territory where there isn’t even an analogy from our lives.

The Direct Light is called refined light, and the Reflected Light that emerges in the Rosh is called Coarse Light because it is extended by the force of the Aviut (coarseness) and Tzimzum (Restriction) in the Masach (Screen) of Malchut of the Rosh.

Because the lower one felt the will to receive on which there was judgment upon its coarseness. This is the foundation on which the Ohr Hozer [Reflected Light] is built. So, it’s called Coarse Light.

From any state, you still have prayer to the Upper Light. If you act, with this request, you will get the next state, and from that state, you pray, and you get the next state. From that state, you ask for what’s missing there, and you get the next state. “I called out from the depths.” So, from every state.

    I heard from Rav Laitman:

Don’t scrutinize where we REALLY are. That’s after we have the Masach. Then we will draw out the evil inclination on our own. That’s a long way off. For now, we are acting, and we truly want to reach a state called love between us. I don’t check who they are, what they are, but only how I can fill up the distance between us with love. By that, I draw the Reforming Light. Before every lesson, this is a mandatory exercise — and in every assembly of the ten.
