That’s interesting. So, all that is missing is for the friends to correct themselves? I heard that a person always has to say the opposite, that “the friends are already corrected, and it is only I who needs to correct myself. The friends are a reflection of my uncorrected qualities, and until I correct myself, I’m going to see my friends as uncorrected.”
I also can’t do the correction for anyone. In fact, even if I could, it would be forbidden to interfere. I’m extremely limited. The Creator Himself is limited here. This is where there is a space for free choice, and thus actually reaching equivalence with the Creator.
If I already have all my friends filling my heart, so that there is no reality in the world except for the friends, then I’m already in the spiritual worlds, in the revelation of the root of my soul. If my heart still is filled with my own desires, then that’s reflected as my world, and I’m in the corporeal world.
Other than those Rav blogs about the root of the soul, there are not many writings. The ARI says something about it in Gate to Reincarnation (I don’t trust the English translation), but it’s written for those who are in spiritual attainment. But the root of the soul is found in the right connection with one’s ten, and in no other place, as with all the concepts in Kabbalah.
What is correct is that all the states the Torah describes, happen in the ten. But you have to enter spirituality to have a Klipa against spirituality. Otherwise, it’s neither Klipa nor Kedusha. In that sense, there are no real Klipot in our work in the ten. But sometimes on our way to connection we experience something sort of like the states Baal HaSulam speaks of.
There isn’t such a thing. What happens to this body is like what happens in the jungle to animals. Nothing more than that. Nothing happens in this world except to inch a person closer to reaching the root of his soul. What is the root of my soul? I can’t know or compare it to anything that I do know because there is nothing in our mind, heart, or world that is similar to the root of the soul. The root of your soul is found in the ten. You have to connect to them in heart, and there you will discover the root of your beautiful soul.

There are 2 rounds of Young Group. After that, you may elect to continue participating in the graduate program as a student or supporter while attending morning lessons, or you may decide to have your center of mass be more in the Bnei Baruch side than the KabU side. So, there’s the 2 rounds of Young Group that everyone goes through, after which you have more freedom to “study where one’s heart desires.”

During a lesson, it is possible that the Rav is providing some level of – let’s just say – a covering for you. The lesson is primarily his work. After the lesson, we need to implement everything we heard. You were given at least some tiny feeling of the states the Rav was mentioning. Now, you need to aspire to those states. Nothing will happen on its own. I have to move myself, with a prayer to the Upper Light, toward states of greater connection with the friends, to actual love between us.
