As long as you’re taking care of the basics of life, such as job, food, money, family, then the rest of your time is yours to show the Creator and show yourself what is important to you.
The main thing is to work on the connection with the spiritual group. The rest of Kabbalah is only the study of the details of this action. The Sefirot, worlds…it’s all the details of this connection.
When you connect correctly with the group, you have the Kli (vessel) in which the Creator is revealed.
That’s a concept I haven’t seen in the wisdom of Kabbalah. Whoever comes to the group is awakened by the Creator, standing before you as a representation of the current state of your spirituality.
You are connected to your root only to the extent you’re connected with your friends. Your soul is hiding in your friends.
I can’t do the work with respect to you. But you must do the work with respect to them. That is your work. While what you asked of me, is not my work. It is not forbidden for you: correct your vessels and reveal that the whole world is in perfection, except for you.
There are many Kabbalistic sayings about this, that the world is inside you, was created only for you, that it’s all a reflection of you…
So, the answer will never change. These are the friends. They await me to correct myself, and it is not that they first need to correct themselves.
I need to be as Yosi Ben Kisma. He was a great Kabbalist and yet even he knew that he had to lower himself before his students, if he wished to advance. Though they were small, confused. Still, there was no other choice, no other hope for him.
No. It’s that they live in two worlds. But more than that it is that they nullify themselves to the point of no knowledge of anything spiritual. Except they don’t close their eyes. Instead, they are Above Reason. We can’t talk about or imagine this because it relates to having a Screen, which we don’t have, and we can’t imagine what it is or how i can be.
That’s interesting. So, all that is missing is for the friends to correct themselves? I heard that a person always has to say the opposite, that “the friends are already corrected, and it is only I who needs to correct myself. The friends are a reflection of my uncorrected qualities, and until I correct myself, I’m going to see my friends as uncorrected.”
I also can’t do the correction for anyone. In fact, even if I could, it would be forbidden to interfere. I’m extremely limited. The Creator Himself is limited here. This is where there is a space for free choice, and thus actually reaching equivalence with the Creator.
