Each name of the Creator is the form of corrected, connected vessel. We are the broken pieces of the vessel, in a completely shattered state. I have to first come to connection with others in a Kabbalistic group, like in our graduate program, and then discover all the forms of connection there. To just say the words, read the letters, benefits a person no more than the silk benefits a camel that carries it.
A prayer comes from a clear understanding of what is broken, and who can fix it. The Creator created only a vessel to fill with the Upper Light. It broke. Nothing else is broken. So only a true prayer for its fixing is heard. Kabbalists turn to the Creator with such requests.
These are details I don’t know about and am not involved with – but if it were me, I also wouldn’t pay attention to them. Even if I myself were told that now I’m being placed in a just-graduated KabU ten, I would be grateful for the opportunity to nullify to a decision that is not mine. We have precious few such opportunities. And toward any ten, I can nullify like Rabbi Yosi Ben Kisma. At the end of the day, it is only that I must come to love something that is outside my borders.
