Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorKeep going, we’ll see that it’s not the same when it’s for the friends as in all those corporeal examples. The Creator has designed the system so that there are limits to what I’m willing to do for the friends, and the Creator. And I’m talking about “routine” things within the bounds of what Rabash explicitly describes in his articles. Once one is doing all that he describes and cannot add anything, so then they can start adding intentions. In this way, one discovers where their limits are.
Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorJudaism is a religion. Kabbalah is a science. If I am in the world of Atzilut, as were those who designed those external customs, and from that attainment I see that there is something I want to do on the level of our world, because that somehow completes an action I’m doing in spirituality which is the main thing, then it’s not that I’m following some protocols that someone ordered me to do. That’s how these all came about. That Kabbalist, from his attainment and for reasons that are beyond our brains and hearts, felt like doing x, y, and z, and in such and such a way. If you want to copy them too, go right ahead. But the main thing is the intention, and actions toward connection.

Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorLater we will see the connection with spirituality. For now, relate to everything in a normal, balanced way – externally you’re as if you know nothing about Kabbalah. Internally, you relate as much as you can to There Is None Else Besides Him.
Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorSay in Rav Laitman’s ten there are those with no Masach (screen). So then one can be as Rabbi Yosi Ben Kiana whose group members were small but by lowering himself before them and treating the group as his place for bestowal, he could advance and refused to leave them.

Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorBut He created them and they’ll all be fulfilled. We can’t imagine since we’re in such a broken perception of reality we can’t imagine the correct application of some desires or really any desires for that matter. Importantly, we think that some of our desires ARE good ALREADY, which shows how truly far we still are from the truth.
Gianni – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Luke,
Remember, the main Mitzva, which includes all the others, is to love your friend as yourself. That’s why Rabash goes to such lengths to detail what that entails. It’s in the heart but also in all its corporeal expressions in the group.
There are a few other actions as you know, but not so many, that one can choose to keep, if he feels that he wants to complete the action at the corporeal branch. For example there is an action of Zeir Anpin that is symbolized by the wrapping of the Tefilin. Who is already at such a degree that he also longs to complete the action down to its corporeal branch – if we’re really talking about Baal HaSulam’s words?
But I do live in a corporeal body and so I have the ability to try toward something that is clear: love of my friends – though these faces aren’t really the spiritual friends, but what I can see at my degree.
The rest is personal, up to you, but not required of you.
