From an egoistic perception, I perceive and feel a corporeal “reality”, where everything and everyone is totally separate from me. I don’t sense myself being an integral part of anything in the world.

My ego creates an “illusionary/delusionary “reality” of a world of separation, which seems to be governed by  laws of space, time, energy, matter & motion. And, if I want to succeed in it, I had better focus my attention and Intention on taking care of myself,  thinking in terms of “what’s mine is mine, and what’s yours is yours”. With my subconscious mind playing my ego’s favorite radio station, WIFM (What’s In it For Me) in the background 24/7, I find myself (consciously & unconsciously) calculating and thinking in terms of how to receive more and more for my sake alone- even to the extent of using and exploiting others- as my ego couldn’t care less about others.

As my perception of reality shifts from egoism to one rooted in bestowal, I begin to sense my connection with others, thinking in terms of WE instead of ME. I begin feeling that I am an integral part of the general Soul (of Adam HaRishon), which includes all the 8+ billion people as well as everything else in this world. I begin to understand that whatever I do does affect everyone and everything.

While still desiring to receive more and more pleasure (as that is my nature; that is how I was created), I begin to consciously scrutinize my A.I.M (what is my Attitude, Intention and Motivation) behind what I am thinking & doing?  Gradually I begin to change my intention, from receiving for myself alone, to one of receiving for the sake of bringing contentment to the Creator.

This switch to altristic intention enables me to gradually reach an “equivalence of form” with the Creator–the very force of Love and Bestowal.  “Love your Friend as Yourself” becomes something real, a principle that enables me (as I connect with friends), to Feel & Reveal more and more Reforming Light and to share it with everyone.  And so, as I change, everything else around me changes! I begin to perceive a “different” world!

1-People (and leaders/governments) would begin thinking in terms of WE instead of ME.

When people begin thinking in terms of WE, then they’re  thinking about the entire planet which includes everything and everyone (inanimate, vegetative, animate and human) in/on it.

2-People would Listen to what others have to say, not re-act emotionally to other people’s opinions; they would act with a loving intention, rather than from an egoistic intention. For if we are all connected in one unified system, then everything anyone does (as an integral part of this unity) affects the entire system– everyone and everything that is a part of this Unity–including themselves! So, to “Love your neighbor as yourself” makes perfect sense!

So instead of thinking “what’s mine is mine” and “what’s yours is yours” we’d come to realize that “what’s mine is yours and what’s yours is mine automatically!!

1-    I am and have always been an egoist. This is what comes along with my nature: my desire to receive- pleasure (and to avoid pain) always for myself, unfortunately, even to the extent of exploiting and harming others.

2-    However, I’ve learned that my “PIH” Point in the Heart has awakened! I know its awakened because after having investigated so many “paths” I’m here studying Kabbalah!

3-    I’ve learned that while my “PIH” is an egoistic desire it is also a very special desire. It is my highest level of desire; it is my desire for Spiritual fulfillment. That if I nourish and nurture my PIH, it affords me the opportunity to climb up the “Spiritual Ladder” (following a path of reshimot), to ascend 125 degrees, and to re-connect (as an integral part of Adam Ha Rishon) to my Spiritual Root in Binah in the World of Atzilut.

4-    This must be done consciously of my own volition (as there in no coercion in spirituality).

5- Therefore, I have two choices choices:

    (a) Be a slave to my ego: Follow a very slow and very painful evolutionary path to my final       Tikkun (correction) to Spiritual Fulfillment.

    (b)  become a servant to the Creator: Study Kabbalah; and follow a much more rapid and far less painful path of return.

    I choose (b)!

Hopefully with the right books, right teacher, and right Kabbalistic Group I’ll  be able to connect with the friends, build an Altruistic INTENTION, (a Masach) to Receive for the Sake of the Creator, and  become as a “conduit” for sharing Reforming LIGHT– Feeling and Revealing the Creator—facilitating the repair of  the shattered Soul of Adam HaRishon of which we are all an integral part.

I would want (as best I can), to act as a CONDUIT, a pipe, to help the others by bringing and sharing (reforming) LIGHT.

An analogy comes to mind, in which I’m using a faucet, water, a  hose, flowers, and a garden.

The water is representing reforming LIGHT-the Upper Force

    The hose/conduit is representing “me”

The turning on the water faucet is representing my INTENTION

The flowers are representing the Points in the Heart of Friends

The Garden is representing Friends” in Kabbalistic Group

I have an INTENTION of bringing water to the flowers in my garden.

So I turn on the faucet, (using my altruistic INTENTION), enabling me to connect to the source of the water-the Reforming LIGHT- and the hose acts as a CONDUIT a pipe. The water begins to flow through the hose, and delivers/shares the water/LIGHT with all the flowers in my garden!  As long as the “faucet” (altruistic INTENTION) is open, the water can continue to flow endlessly!

My INTENTION has been for the water to be used/enjoyed by the flowers (love of friends), NOT for the water to be used selfishly by me. But interestingly enough, “I”( the hose), cannot help but “feel” and “reveal” the water! The more water delivered by the hose/conduit to the garden, the more water passes that through the hose!  And it is all done without exploiting anything/anyone!

So,  (A) as the hose, I enjoy the giving of the water to the friends and (B) I can “please” the Source/Water (which is behind the faucet waiting to be released) by connecting with and bestowing to the “flowers in the Garden”. A Win-Win situation!

No doubt a flawed analogy: simplistic, and probably not the best way for explaining Spiritual forces and concepts, 😉 but, I find it helpful when “dealing” with the egoistic reasoning mind!

I was originally created as spiritual Kli-a “Desire to Receive” the Light that the Creator wishes to bestow on his creation.  But because of the “Shattering” of this Kli, of the unified Soul of Adam Ha Rishon, I have descended to this corporeal world as separate “piece” of that soul enclothed in a corporeal body, feeling like a totally separate individual, having no awareness of the Soul of Adam Ha Rishon, with no real connection to anyone or anything.

Even with the awakening of my Point in the Heart (an egoistic desire in need of correction), I am a desire to receive– completely under the control and domination of the force of the ego. I am  100% the polar opposite of The Creator (the force of unconditional Love & Bestowal).

Having an ever-growing ego, I continue desiring to receive more and more for myself, without regard for (or an ability to grasp) the negative effect this is having on the entire planet and all its inhabitants. Even if  I think I want change my nature to an Altruistic nature (to be in equivalence of form with the Creator), I cannot do it myself. Only by drawing the Reforming Light from above can I change my nature. And to do that (in the best & quickest way possible), I need (1) the right books, (2) the right teacher and (3) connection with the right Group.
