By this we receive everything we need for our advancement. Furthermore, I’m told that if I will help the others, I will advance myself even more towards spirituality. How does this work? What does it mean to help the others, those with the point in the heart, on the spiritual path? #313026MariaParticipant
I know we all have egos that might bother someone and feel hurt, but this spiritual path gives us some concepts we can hold on to, so we can all help each other in the corrections we have to do: 1) “Love your friend as yourself”, so we can have this intention in the interactions we will be having with our group; and 2)Â “There is nothing besides him”, so we can take whatever “negative experience” into a “message from the Creator” and correct ourselves instead of reacting from our egos.

February 12, 2023 at 3:42 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Prompt: Considering our journey thus far, how can we fortify our connection with the illuminating force? How do we amplify its transformative influence? #312449MariaParticipantWe want to attract the light that reforms, and we can do it by our intention and desire for it. Of course Kabbalah is the method to help us, so being here, studying Kabbalah with a teacher is the best way to do it.
February 5, 2023 at 9:18 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Prompt: What does transitioning from a self-centered perception of reality to one grounded in altruism entail? #311859MariaParticipantTo start really living under the understanding that we are not one complete self, but part of a greater “organism/system/soul”. If my skin is not my “frontier”, then I can’t really be egoistic (at least not as before the information we’ve received), as I will realize that anything egoistic is also harming “my little me”, not only the system I now still see as outside “me”.
January 29, 2023 at 8:47 am EST in reply to: Preparation Question: Congratulations on progressing through the intermediary stages of your Kabbalah learning by staring this new course! Since the wisdom of Kabbalah deals with developing our precious eternal part—the soul—it is important to take a moment to note your expectations from this stage of your journey, and later check back and see what aligned with or differed from your expectations, and how you might’ve changed in the process: What do you hope to get out of this course you’re now starting? #311104MariaParticipantI’m excited to start knowing about the practice of Kabbalah, as I think it’s only in the practice that we’ll achieve any kind of attainment, not through what we learn in theory. So what I want to achieve in this course is the methodology you’ve been talking about, so “the light” can work in our points in the heart need in order to enter the spiritual path (upper ladder).
January 26, 2023 at 11:55 am EST in reply to: What was my best experience from the previous course? What do I expect from this course? #310903MariaParticipantMy best experience has to be feeling at home with everything we have been learning; and feeling for the first time in my life that there is “something bigger than me” (I was raised by an atheist mother with an immense spiritual hunger), and that there is a plan (as I already wrote in the other forum).
My expectations for this course is to finally be able to start the practical journey. 🙂
