The idea of a babe crying out from the cradling arms of previous Kabbalists struck me. As did the smile on his face describing that feeling. It is not hard to see the joy he has in his work. It makes it very easy to trust someone who’s goal seems to be pleasing his own past teachers. While his life is dedicated to this task, it seems less “work” and more Joy. How can one not wish to join in that Joy?
Rav Laitman, my Rav, is both a teacher worth embracing, and a student worth emulating. I find it hard to put my feelings into words, with every attempt feeling pale and shallow.

Before, I attributed this to my subconscious alerting me to things that need attention. Now I attribute those ‘moments of notice’ to the Creator.
If there is none else but the Creator, should I attribute these small mundane alerts of attention to Him? Are these things that bubble-up from from the subconscious sent by the Creator? How can one be sure it is from Him and not from the ego? Often these events seem purely egoistic, but are still pointed toward a path of improvement for my self. I do not wish to delude myself into thinking these are from the Creator when they might be purely my imagination, yet I do not wish to dismiss the Creator as there is none else but Him.
How can we truly be sure the source of these events?

Furthermore, I’m told that if I will help the others, I will advance myself even more towards spirituality. How does this work? What does it mean to help the others, those with the point in the heart, on the spiritual path? #319131John AllenParticipantThe joining of correct desires with others toward the common goal of spiritual advancement.

Since the wisdom of Kabbalah deals with developing our precious eternal part—the soul—it is important to take a moment to note your expectations from this stage of your journey, and later check back and see what aligned with or differed from your expectations, and how you might’ve changed in the process: What do you hope to get out of this course you’re now starting? #318195John AllenParticipantDon’t forget to come and Taste and see that He is Good.
(Sorry, but that’s the first thing that popped in my head when I read your post :P)April 16, 2023 at 9:47 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: Congratulations on progressing through the intermediary stages of your Kabbalah learning by staring this new course! I understand the Why, but not entirely the How.
