I do not have experiential knowledge to answer these questions. Currently I am going on faith that what I am learning in studies will soon translate into my everyday experience. I think by coming together with other points in the heart with shared goal of attracting the upper reforming light we are able to form a vessel to attract and receive the light. As each of us are part of the same vessel then what happens to one happens to all that are part of the vessel.
Hi Gianni, not sure how to ask this question as even the question is unclear to me. I have had a spiritual desire within for as long as I can remember. What this desire seemingly has brought over my 60 years of life is being a target for abuse from every place I have search so far to find a home with others of like mind. Now I am here in Kabbalah and hearing I have been chosen by nature to work to increase this spiritual desire with others. My torn and tattered insides are rebelling against moving towards being in a group of ten. Fear of the responsibiliy, fear of letting others down, fear of being a hindrance to others, fear of once again being told I do not belong. How can I do what needs to be done so the reforming light can transform these fears to keep me from quitting? The oscillating between desire to just stick to the process knowing it is the purpose of creation and the desire to quit to save myself the humiliation is on a rapid cycle and creating difficulty to find footing.
What I can say about my personal work with the light that reforms is that my egoistic nature has been exposed, is very resistant, and is trying to create all forms of barriers to distract from the spiritual path. Even though I feel in a position of exile, what keeps strengthening the reforming light’s influence on my ego desires are the teachers, the lectures, the book readings, the reading and connection within the forums, and the praying a whole prayer from my heart. Currently, I am occupying a space of faith above reason while weathering this egoistic storm.
Focusing on the term to shift; meaning, for myself, is in the process of evolution and emergence towards becoming a spiritual creature.
Hi Seth, I understand my question was confusing as written. Your answer did apply to what I was asking. To make sure for my understanding I will try to ask in clearer form. If what I see in the world projects from my will to receive ego and I see another students question let’s say about struggling with an addiction then addiction that is in my will to receive egoistic desires is being projected out and is seen in the other student? So then because this addictive desire is in me and by nature of being a fractal of the other making us connected if I pray for the correcting light to correct the addictive egoistic desire in me in order that the other student that raised the question can receive correction also because of us being connected would this be the meaning of receiving in order to bestow? And you answered the second part by keeping the spiritual work in the group of spiritual seekers as only in this environment are we working towards bestowing. I do not know if this is clearer asking of the question. Theme is on correct form of prayer in context of receiving correction for myself in order to bestow towards the other.
