Here it says the creature decides to receive all the pleasure from the Creator and realizes this is what was intended from the beginning. But then on the next page it says this realization in Phase 4 leads to an unfathomably unpleasant, all-pleasure-cancelling kill-switch called “spiritual shame”. How does the realization of the nature of one’s true nature to receive lead to such shame? I thought this is what the final goal, is it not?
And why is the restriction created? Does this mean the creature literally rejects the light of the creator, or what exactly does it mean to have this restriction in place? Why would the creature create this restriction after realizing the true intention of bestowal?LailaParticipantI wish that we all look at each other with compassion and respect for each one’s individual background/history and end the practice of judging one another based on their position in life. I wish that the homeless man on the street is treated with the same level of dignity as a wealthy businessman. Even those that are difficult to deal with – may we all remember that acceptance is what will bring us together.

September 16, 2021 at 1:37 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: In what way have I gained a deeper understanding of my life and of the forces working in the world? #63114LailaParticipantIn every event, I try to “zoom out” and see the bigger picture. It’s so easy to lose sight of any sense of divinity or broader purpose when we get caught up in the mundane day-to-day activities. However, I’m learning that these mundane daily activities is actually where the magic happens! The way we respond and interact with our environments is constantly having a ripple effect to everything else that happens in our lives. As time goes by and I spend more time reflecting on my life, things that once seemed like misfortune ended up being a great learning lesson, and vice versa. I’m starting to realize that everything happens FOR us, not TO us.
