ParticipantThe most profound experience I’ve had from the previous courses has been a deeper understanding of the equilibrium we are to practice in every aspect of life. Specifically, “love thy neighbor as thyself”. I have heard it in so many parts of my life and in many different ways: “love thy neighbor as thyself” / “do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. The equilibrium of individuality/congregation, physical/spiritual, ego/community, reception/bestowal, are all incorporated in this one beautiful doctrine. Until now, I’ve understood this as the best possible way to love and sustain harmony amongst each other. Now, however, I understand the deeper meaning of this doctrine, which is to not only treat others as myself, but to realize that myself and everyone else are one. To love my neighbor as myself is to see that my neighbor and myself are one.  Through this course I hope to learn and apply new fundamental practices to nurture this spiritual growth on a day-to-day basis.

ParticipantTo see that all things come from Him, that all events that we experience are for the purpose of our development from Him, regardless of the “good” or “bad” that we may feel from it.

Once the goal is defined, you will continue to refine it to keep yourself perfectly aimed at the target. How would you currently define the goal for which you are studying? #480930Matthew
ParticipantMy goal through study is to learn how to grow and develop this additional sense to perceive “There is none else beside Him” in every aspect of life and to learn to guide my intentions according to the will of Providence for my own spiritual growth.

ParticipantFreedom is the ultimate autonomy both to decide what I want to do and to do it. However, what I think I want is driven by forces completely unknown to me. With the help of the Reforming Light, I can become aware of these forces and gain a higher understanding of what I “want” which super cedes this “invisible” influence of forces by understanding them and incorporating them into my development.

ParticipantI was excited to get a deeper dive into the details of the study of Kabbalah. I had seen the Kabbalah Revealed videos but the supplemental materials and videos provided exceptional insight to enhance my understanding prior to the course. I love the detailed breakdown of the concepts but my understanding of practical application has always been vague. I am looking forward to expanding on my current understanding and hoping to dive in to practical application and personal growth.
