Once the goal is defined, you will continue to refine it to keep yourself perfectly aimed at the target. How would you currently define the goal for which you are studying? #328230MollyParticipant
The goal of studying Kabbalah is to recognise our egoistic desires as the sharks wishing to consume us.
To encourage the desire to know the spiritual world by providing a conducive environment surrounded by like minded people .
Ultimately the goal is to change our intention from reception to bestowal, this will create an equivalence of form between us and the creator.
A vessel that allows us to receive and recognise the upper light and then to see and know the creator

I am from Australia & like many others here ( point in the heart initiates?) have been searching for the meaning/an understanding of …well pretty much everything, for a very long time.
The big WHY, followed by the big HOW and of course from the egoistic perspective where do I fit in this schema….maybe I am just a mote in gods eye?
Science is stuck on this one as well: A theory of Everything. generally I am an evidence based empiricist. However I have had the inexplicable and the synchronous happen many times in my life and feel the forces and outcomes we see and imagine …..are just too brilliant and spectacularly beautiful to be a random chance event.
So i hope i will find or begin to find some answers here ….
I am also doing the beginners Kabbalah course ( Pt 2 )
Onward and upward !!!
Thank youJuly 30, 2023 at 5:59 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: What is freedom and how, by the help of the Reforming Light, can we acquire it? #327450MollyParticipantFreedom is the knowledge and understanding to make an informed choice about pursuing a spiritual path. The reforming light ( im not sure i really understand this concept ) helps us ( I imagine) to feel this spiritual choice is the best for us and the world .
MollyParticipantBy understanding that every event that happens, thing i see & environment that surrounds me is from the creator & must be for my benefit, even if these things keep me from his presence in the short term. This teaches me that there is “none else besides him “and only through the desire of creator can I reach him and cross the “barrier” to understand the spiritual wolrd.
July 18, 2023 at 1:16 am EDT in reply to: What was my best experience from the previous course? What do I expect from this course? #326518MollyParticipantMy best experience was understanding that the wisdom of Kabbala cannot be gained by intellectual pursuit and the way of the ego.I like the idea that the creator would like to reveal the spiritual world to us but must wait till we are ready to “see” .
In this course I am hoping to continue my journey towards spiritual insight with resilience and hope .MollyParticipantI was inspired by the possibility that maybe if I was lucky & persistent…there was a chance I could finally meet/experience/understand the creator….or at least have hope of a meeting in the future.
I learned the process of pursuing the possibility of that meeting will be challenging and require my focused attention …it is not a part time pursuit.
I wish for my fellow students and I, that we all meet together, back where we started, within Adam Kadmon. - AuthorReplies
