OlavParticipantThis was an important lesson!
During this week I read the story “The Dining Table” in Attaining the Worlds beyond (p. 40-59). This is such a great explanation of the 4 Phases of Light (& Kli), I recommend it to all my fellow students.

Once the goal is defined, you will continue to refine it to keep yourself perfectly aimed at the target. How would you currently define the goal for which you are studying? #495591
OlavParticipantMy Goal is to develop myself, break free from the chains of the Ego and open up to an Altruistic mind-set. In this process I will open up to receive with an open Heart from the Creator and I am ready to live a life that brings more happiness and clearity in my lifes purpose in this incarnation.
April 5, 2026 at 5:25 am EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: What is freedom and how, by the help of the Reforming Light, can we acquire it? #494551
OlavParticipantFreedom for me is that we can choose to walk the Path of Light or the Path of Suffering.
We acquire the help we need from the Reforming Light when we have a yearning for spirituality and decides to use our ego in a constructive way, to walk the Path of Light.April 3, 2026 at 5:47 am EDT in reply to: Reflect: Share something from the lesson that blew your mind, or even just gave you a new perspective. #494403
OlavParticipantIn the related videos Rav Laitman tells us that all of our thoughts and actions are sent to us from the Creator. I have had the impression that our destructive, evil and selfish thoughts and actions were produced by our EGO, our free will to choose the path of light or suffering. This was a hard pill to swallow – I realize that I need to change my perspective.

Are we only like puppets on a string?
