Moreover, it’s said that aiding others accelerates our own spiritual ascent. How does this dynamic operate? What does supporting fellow seekers with a spiritual inclination entail? #360127PaulParticipant
I have read some of the recent replies to this question and can totally relate to those who have been to other forms of conferences with other groups, usually religious in nature but also business gatherings. There is always the exhilaration from being part of something big, the feeling of connection, a force running through everyone. And then the letdown that follows since there isn’t a lasting impact on our lives.
However, I’m hoping and confident that a Kabbalh Conference will be different since the common goal of altruism, versus conformity to other values, will flow and create real and lasting bonds and impact. Even if we don’t feel much, I’m sure that the world is impacted from this quality aligning with the Creator’s and Nature’s quality/force.
My wife and I are looking forward to learning when and were they will be held in 2024!

And how their efforts are having a huge impact on others who aren’t searching in a very conscious or direct way at this stage. So I thank all involved in developing, presenting and providing answers to our questions … from my heart! I hope (and intend) that one day I may be able to disseminate in these ways and help others find their way back to unity with the Creator. But first I need to attain this unity versus simply learn it! I know it will be a gradual process and that group work is crucial, so I look forward to the live workshop tomorrow and meeting and getting to know 9 of you in person. Shalom & filakia (love in Greek).
PaulParticipantDissemination is sharing what I have attained so that others may decide whether they want to walk the path that Kabbalists say works to achieve the goal of life: adhesion/EOF with the Creator. Since we live in a global village, with all our interests interconnected, my own spiritual correction will help all other souls to the extent that my behaviour shines some light, but the goal is global correction of all souls. If I’m afraid to share, its a sign that either I’m doing this for myself alone or I have not yet attained what I have learned and hence I’m in no position to effectively disseminate. So trying to do so too early on may well backfire. I’m sure it will be obvious when, what, with whom and how to begin disseminating when the time is right.

In what desire are we connected? #356797PaulParticipantTo shift from an egoistic perception of reality to one based on bestowal means that I shift from my view of myself at the center of all that happens around me, and the way it impacts my pleasure/happiness, to one where I sense the Creator at the center, directing everything, good and bad from my point of view but actually always good from His. My task is then to look for the good purpose in the events, how they are designed to help me discover some things about my over-bearing ego, my misinterpretation of the good in events and people I don’t enjoy. The Group is a place to join my intentions to transform to a correct view of reality, that is the Creator’s intention to bestow only goodness, with my fellows/neighbors/friends. This uniting of intentions will attract the reforming light to reveal the truth of my character, the areas where my ego is dominating and need correction. It is the place to learn to put my ego to one side and focus on the needs of my group members … knowing this pleases the Creator, helps my intention conform to be more in line with His, and draws me closer to Him.

I also thought the book “Chaos to Harmony” is the simplest and clearest overview of what is wrong with us individually and collectively and the need for radical change to avoid total self-destruction ( which won’t happen). It sets up the need for transformation from egoistic desire to altruistic desire beautifully, with contemporary language and explanations that make a very compelling trail of breadcrumbs!
January 15, 2024 at 6:31 am EST in reply to: Preparation Question: Starting a new course in Kabbalah is similar to a fetus moving on to a new trimester. The warm and fulfilling womb is still the same, but the desire and needs of the future human are evolving. Before we start the first week let’s set our expectations. How do we want the womb (Light) to influence and evolve us? What do we desire to achieve in this semester? #339588PaulParticipantI want the Light to align us in our desires to become more interested in the desires of others in group than our own egoistic desires, expose to each of us where and when we are reacting out of ego, strengthen our will to hang in there and not get defensive, assist us in our time of introspection to objectively see our egos at play, and finally to reform our egos as required.
I want us to all experience & feel crossing the barrier to enter the spiritual worlds and know this happened because WE did this together by following a safe, practical and certain process that works.
I hope that the experience of working together this semester will help us develop confidence in this process, see its benefits and commit to continuing on the journey knowing we are “all for one & one for all” … and that each of us WILL progress to higher attainment and understanding as we go on together.
