ParticipantThe Creator is pure light, and the purest love, and embodying a state of perfect bestowal. I don’t know if this is right or wrong, but when I pull my intention inward to my heart to feel the Creator, the feeling is too huge to try to describe. (It makes me want to cry, and I don’t cry easily). Please tell me if this is wrong. In order to emotionally handle the sudden tragic death of my father, I took what my grandmother taught me about God and pulled it deep into my heart to comfort me in frightening times. As I grew older I kept that feeling inside. I grew up to explain it like the love I remember getting from my own earthly father multiplied by some huge unknown number. I have carried this feeling within me all my life. Being new here I have a lot to learn but that’s my perception so far.
Happy to be here. Love to all.

November 26, 2023 at 12:30 am EST in reply to: Preparation Question: The importance of clearly defining the goal in the study of Kabbalah is the beginning of the path. Once the goal is defined, you will continue to refine it to keep yourself perfectly aimed at the target. How would you currently define the goal for which you are studying? #335808Rosie
ParticipantMy intuition is telling me this journey is going to go deeper into myself than I ever have before. I see this as one of the most awesome journeys that I have ever taken. I see the diagrams instructors are showing to try and get us to perceive something outside our 5 senses, but there’s no real knowing until we get much further into this journey. So my goal is to stay the path and keep learning and to find a way to ask any questions that will help me to understand.

ParticipantLike an onion, my layers of ignorance are being peeled away, one at a time. My ultimate goal is to find the heart of this truth. But to do it meaningfully so it never leaves me. My present goal is to stay on the path, keep learning (& it’s not in a cerebral way), to keep moving toward the ultimate goal.

November 13, 2023 at 11:29 am EST in reply to: Preparation Question: What is freedom and how, by the help of the Reforming Light, can we acquire it? #334846Rosie
ParticipantFreedom on a human level, from my experience, was getting out from under the control of forces that were hurting me. Being able to make my own decisions for my own life. And then finding out that I was being lovingly guided toward a better path, the ultimate path.
It was freeing to understand where pain and suffering came from, or better, ‘the why.’
