So, there really is no contradiction between the Tao, the Zen understanding of the world, the Jewish worldview at its core, and Kabbalah, because the latter is the most basic understanding of all the former, and it reveals the way the universe and reality really are. Kabbalah, predating religion, is the way by which we can detect the world above, correct our perceptions of reality, and live better, more fulfilled lives. Is that correct?

This has, paradoxically, given me more understanding of reality and the way the world really is.

Write a few words about yourself and about what you expect from the course. #219421Sam Ben-YosaifParticipantHello everyone! My name is Sam, I’m a religious Jew and I want to learn how to read the Zohar, so I need guidance before I begin because I find it a little confusing.
Sam Ben-YosaifParticipantHello, do we learn the 10 Sefirot here or the 4 worlds? What all do we learn? Can someone give me a comprehensive list of topics? Just want to make sure I’m in the right place.
Sam Ben-YosaifParticipantMy name is Samuel Ben-Yosaif, I’m a Jew who used to live in Israel. I want to be closer to G-d. I want to find the truth about G-d, and my Rabbi said that Kabbalah is the ultimate way to be close to Hashem and understand the nature of reality, life, and how to live a life of holiness. I’m willing to dedicate everything to this. In my understanding, HaKadosh Baruch Hu gave us the Kabbalah before he gave us Judaism, and the only thing I want in this life is to know Him, and understand what we’re all doing here.

Can someone provide additional materials for research into them?
